Pretty Funny fic. I am not a fan of Harry/Luna but this one's got me interested since the idea was made by Roscharch's Blot. I can't wait to read the rest.

 

This fic is getting very good with chapter 4. I feel like we're getting the best of two worlds here--a neat, slightly off-the-wall plot idea from the Blot, and solid execution by a more grounded author. I hope he continues with this one, it seems like he's really hitting his stride.

 

This is one of my favorite new stories, oddly enough. Too many H/L writers either turn Luna into another Hermione/Ginny mix, a sappy soulmate, or a continuous pun. Reading this younger, more grounded, but still open-minded Luna is a very nice change.

 

This is very nice and cute story for now, rather interesting and original as well.

The only problem is Harry's character; the little twat doesn't have any active influence on the plot whatsoever. Everything is decided either by Luna or her mother, while Harry is there just to look cute and get dragged along for the ride...

 

I like it, it certainly changed from when it was just a chapter, seemed total on the humor side then. Now little children are beating tommy's traps and unscathed at first. I can just imagine what HBP Harry's reaction would be.

 

I dont think so, but I could be wrong, remember they found the location by following the "dark thread", since the locket has already been stolen, the dark thread woudn't point to its supposed location (where voldemort placed it), but the thread would lead them to I would guess the house of Black.

This is just speculation on my part...

 

I think it's a nice breather from the usual jump into things wand blazing kind of Harry, that's uaually his character in most fics other than pussy!Harry.

I like how the fic is humorous but doesn't try to be funny all the time, the author knows when it's ok to be funny so his fic doesn't turn out like fuegodefuerza's.

 

I really enjoyed this. Though, I kind of see the Harry/Luna relationship here more like incest than anything else - euck. And I don't much like the idea of keeping Harry back a year at Hogwarts ... Still, though, it's definitly a good read.

 

I like it very much as well. Good idea by the Blot man and exelent continuation from Meteoricshipyards. Luna's char is nicely done and I expect we'll see a more influential Harry as the story continues and he gains confidence in his new environment with the Lovegoods and Sirius and Remus to encourage him as well,

Was just updated. I'm still getting huge incest vibes, but.

I really don't think I like the idea of two people being together from that young a age - it's like they'd miss out on so many experiences. Yeah, the marriage does irk me. I wouldn't mind if they got together later, after dating other people (like, sixth year or something) but at (what was it?) five years old? It's just wrong.

The fic is coming along very nicely, though.


EDIT: Ok, Luna and Harry were seven when they first met. Slight exageration there, sorry.

 

Eh... i don't really mind the incest thing, now no throwing sticks and stones or pitchforks at me. Though i do agree that them being so young and married is kinda dissapointing.

 

Well that's hardly an incest if they are unrelated.

No, the main problem with this story is that Luna and partially her mother are turned into complete set of Marry Sue-s. Luna is simply too perfect - smart, powerful, gifted, cute etc... All her failings from canon are negated, and only perfection is left. Harry, on the other hand, is still rather useless and could be easily replaced by Luna's teddy bear or a pet.

 

It was funny at first... But now the gimmick is getting old.

Harry's character needs to develop or this story is going to descend down to mediocrity.

 

Nuh, I meant that I think they have a rather (a lot) more brother/sister relationship over that of blossoming 'lovers'. Yeah?

 

No. Just because they can't feel sexual feelings for each other doesn't mean they can't love each other as husband and wife. It's just that their interpretation of it is not the same as that of an adult.
