Hey, I was looking through a lot of the fanfic's in the fanfiction.net site, but I never saw a story where Madara actually defeated the First Hokage at the Valley of the End. I think it would be very interesting to see the outcome.

As I see it, if Madara actually won, then all the Uchiha would have been executed for their "betrayal" to the Uchiha, and there would also not have been a second Hokage, as he is the First Hokage's brother.

Then Sarutobi would have been taught by Madara, and Jiraiya, Tsunade (actually I think she would also be dead because she is directly related to the Senju) and Orochimaru. Orochimaru would have also probably become the next hokage after that, because he was supposed to be the Hokage, but in canon Sarutobi chose to go with Arashi.

But I guess there would be a flaw as I don't see Naruto fitting anywhere, unless he has the demon in him and he defected to another village to take down Madara, but that sounds a bit far fetched, and sounds unrealistic. So maybe its a Madara-centric fic or something.

I could try to write one, but I would need to bounce some ideas back and forth. but I am not that great at creating stories, and I think I would butcher the story more than anything else. Does anyone know if there is a story like this?

Thats why I'm thinking it would be Madara Centric. I see the same stories over and over again, I just want to see something new I guess.

 

No offense, but the vast majority would never read a Madara-centric fic. I know that whenever I search for Naruto fics, I always put Naruto in as the main character, which means that I would never see your fic in the first place.

While the idea itself is interesting, it would be difficult to make a story out of it that anyone would read.

 

Arashi? Mmm... I did like that name for the Fourth. Would've been interesting. Kazama Arashi.

 

Unless you've a fairly massive fan following, fics without Naruto or Sasuke as main character(s) get no readers. I say this just as warning so you realize what you're getting into before you do it. If you can accept that than go ahead with your idea I guess.

And you might need to seriously consider overall plot. You might be hitting into suspension of belief and realism problems already with your idea. If Madara won, at which point he would've the god-eye from his brother already, why would he ever "give up" his leadership position to the likes of Sarutobi and/or Orochimaru especially if this is a Madara-centric story. You'll also need to perverse Sarutobi's character regardless and/or the entire model of Konoha depending on what you set Madara's goal and motivation as... basic world conquest? social darwinism/progress through chaos? Utopia from above by treat of nuclear I mean Bjuu holocaust a la Pain's idea? W/e. Obviously you don't need to go so far. Maybe actually holding power mellows him a bit in the long term or cause him to develop human affectations in some area. I.e. he seals Kyuubi into Naruto and trains him into being his special all purpose pet demon/assassin. W/e but broad, big changes would almost certainly be needed and not making them could potentially torpedo your effort right off the bat.

Anything of the dark and evil narrative are always much more difficult to write "in the long run" than its vanilla alternative. Once the rush of being in control of the "cool and bad" runs its course and it always does, you actually have to have a program or else the story's going to tank and bleed readers... fast.

 

I agree with the others, and Mrriddler espcially.

Its got potential no doubt, but a lot of problems would have to be addressed, as is always the case when changing history. Unless you want to do a one-shot, then it could work but to really play things out it'd have to be a '20 list' type deal. Then you can bypass the need for a sustained plot and just give us glimpses of the world under Madara.

Of course you'd have to still answer the question of how exactly the Shodai got killed by Madara and etc, but at least you wouldn't have to worry about sustaining the plot for any length of time.

 

Maybe its a Time Travel fic? Naruto goes back, fucks up the fight, has to deal with the consequences. Back to the Future style ya?

It wouldn't even necessarily have to be a situation where he messes it up on accident. It could be a situation where Naruto is abused as a child, taken in at an early age by someone of Akatsuki and he grows up looking up to the members of the organization as family. Madara fails to destroy Konoha and the rest Akatsuki dies, so he goes back in time to change the future not caring about the first two Hokages because Tsunade failed him as a godmother or whatever.

 

Ok... Just stop... Please, don't try to write fanfics - ever.
Abusive villagers... Tsunade who failed his as a godmother... Evil village and just plain fluffy Akatsuki. Who are not criminals! No! They are very nice folks who will even give you presents on your birthdays!
Ffs... There are tons of fanfics with this emo shit allready. No need to write another "everybody hates me" and "they dont understand my tender personality".

Just about a month ago I've seen a fic where Uber!Naruto, goes back in time and meets Madara. Naruto has got scorpion summoning contract (Badass! I know!) and he becomes Madaras best friend after he got his uber Mangekyo.

 

Perhaps this thread should be renamed to "Naruto Fan Fiction Ideas That Should Never Under Any Circumstances Find Their Way Onto Paper. Or the Internet. Ever."

So I had this idea for a story where Konohamaru is raised by Terminator robots and then they send him back in time to collect the Triforce before a meteor crashes into the earth.

What do you think? Can anyone write this story for me?

I'm really waiting till someone writes a fic where it is not Naruto who travels in time, but Kyuubi. Of course - he (or she/it) cant go before the sealing and has to find a way to achieve his goals while he is in Naruto. There should be strict regulations of what he can do and cannot - like he can only take controll of Naruto's body while his host is asleep. NO chakra techniques or very gimped versions - like maybe a henge and one or two shadow clones max. Slight crossover with fight club is advisable.

Honestly man, we're trying to fit an off the wall idea into an acceptable fic, not throw it into the septic tank.

As for time travel, why complicate it? I could see the Nottooswift!TimeTraveling!Naruto fucking things up pretty easily with a well intentioned bout of sight seeing. It'd probably be a humor fic.

 

I wish the same could be said for the HP fandom and Harry Potter as the main character. But alas, Draco/Charlie slash fics get 1000+ reviews, etc.

Count yourself lucky, Naruto fandom.

 

The only difference between HP slash and Naruto slash is that, since Naruto is a story targeted towards young teenage boys, the slash stories have a smaller following and get fewer reviews.

Doesn't say anything about the number of slash stories though.

Itachi and Sasuke slash is everywhere.

 

The only people who support the series though are fan girls.

As for "lol fucked up past" stories – it's been tried before, don't think you're the first to conceive of it.

It's easier just to use Orochimaru or Danzo than Madara, since you have to go back so far the plausibility of any of the Naruto characters still existing is nil.
