I mean if Fluff was feeling down that people were just going to automatically lynch him this game because of last game and Gemma talked him into playing, then I can see her reaction and being protective. Gemma might be a BIG BULLY but I think that if she thinks that someone is actually bothered by something that she'd want to let them know that there is someone here who wants to understand them.

So that is a plausible thing I can see her doing well as either alignment really, so it's not as scummy as I thought originally.

Okay so I compared a few opening posts from font from RWBY and Mimefia. I'm assuming font was scum in mime? It's not immediately clear from the thread.

Anyway, most obvious difference was that she uses exclamation marks in Mimefia.

...alright, fine, she seems to drop out of dry humor mode both faster and simultaneously with becoming more serious. Like, in RWBY she starts actually playing but keeps snarking here and there whereas in mime she drops it entirely once that stuff starts up.

I'd say she's closer to RWBY than mime in this game so far. I suppose that means I should townread her.

 

So I'm voting Jan mostly because I want him to do more things.

What I don't like is

a) his thread presence (Vaimes will love this), specifically the way he felt like he was trying to join in on "town conversation" but couldn't really manage, including the way he started serious then fell into what everyone else was doing after that.

b) his treatment of me, specifically the way he had questions and seemed to insinuate what I was doing was scummy, but didn't have anything to say about me, which by contrast is very different from the way Tammy handled me by asking a question and making it clear how she felt / how she was interpreting that stuff from me. This is weaker because Jan might be less inclined to push on me in general but I still think the way he went about that felt off and more like he was searching for reasons to scumread me than to understand me.

c) that he's not really doing anything, and the things he's looking at, for example his question to Fable.

Speaking of which, Jan's interaction with Fable is weird to me from both ends and I want to say there's probably at least 1 scum between those two but it's too early for that to be very meaningful. Mostly I don't understand why that's a question that Jan asks Fable there in the middle of what's going on, while doing no other real things.

And I don't really like Fable, he feels really posture-y and kind of fake I don't have time to go into this but I don't like him. Possibly even more than I don't like Jan. I'm also vaguely aware that I find his playstyle scummy so I have to keep that in mind.
