I need to actually catch up with stuff from when I fell asleep. I’m extremely hung over though, so it will be a slow process. BUT I just found out I don’t have to be at the train station until well after deadline, so I’ll be here until deadline if I’m right that it’s in 3 hours.

Very much like fonti drawing that parallel between Cobalt's reaction to Fable and Jan.

I'm trying to articulate why I like fonti pushing this narrative and dislike Gemma pushing a narrative on Vaimes - I think it's that this just feels... directly confrontational, like here is the narrative I see, what are you doing, tell me? Whereas Gemma to Vaimes feels like painting him.

You can ping me before EOD to move wagons but if it's purely for self-preservation reasonings I'm not self-presing. Would rather flip and have everyone reevaluate what I've said toMorrow than self-pres onto another Lynch target.

I'm sure I'm missing something and giving someone a pass for something I shouldn't; I don't put a lot of stock in my day one reads overall, so I'm just happy getting a general sense of here I am. The game hasn't clicked in a making sense way for me yet either but again not something I get overly worried about day one in a game with fast deadlines.

I'm not really interested in a miner lynch though.

 

This feels like Miner is admonishing Vaimes for appearing wolfy, which, like... I'm admittedly somewhat tunneled so I'm trying to think of an alternative explanation than "Miner knows Vaimes is town and is chiding him for his play through that perspective," and coming up empty.

Miner/Vaimes w/w: No, I don't think Miner ever shades a partner like that. There's bold/do something a wolf wouldn't do, and then there's... this. It's too bald-faced.

Miner v, genuine thought: .... how? If the genuine thought is that Vaimes made a wolfy comment, why is it phrased like Vaimes is shooting himself in the foot, and not like "I found a wolf"?

 

I’d feel a little bad about not reading enough of the game to read him before his lynch. Maybe we lynch Vaimes instead? He’s town, but I wouldn’t feel bad at all.

Or Fonti. Fonti lynch D1 has long been a dream of mine.
