so far I have found snippets of a Harry Potter from the muggle underground ect ect. but i was wondering if there are more out there that are hiding, that anyone would recommend.

 

There's a Yakuza one out there that is alright. Can't recall the name though, sorry. They're is one or two so I reccommend the AU thread in the Library and the Recycling bin.

 

There are more out there hiding, but none that I would recommend, not even to my worst enemies. It's a genre that doesn't spawn good stories.

I don't recall it being slash, but it is definitely written in a slash-like manner. Lots of feminisation. Lots of style.

The story never reaches the point of any HP/LV interaction that I can recall, so I don't know if that was supposed to be a pairing or just the main character interaction.

I don't know if I'd recommend it but I'd guess that Esama's "Business" fits the bill. It's a oneshot at 10k-15k words so it's a quick read though the quality may not be very high (it's in the Recycling Bin for what it's worth. So it's not terrible. Just not good). I don't have a link for it, though, since Esama pulled all his — her? I never know these things for certain — stories. Though if anyone else finds some good stuff out there I'd certainly like to read it as the concept of a magical mafia has some merit.

 

893 is the yakuza Harry Potter story.

Then there's Gabriel, which has Harry grow up in an organised crime/terrorist/freedom fighter household, and updates with huge breaks between chapters.

Those are the only two I can recall, except Esama's stuff (which got pulled). There was another one where Lily's father was a crimelord, and Luna joins in, which was a comedy; and one with Blaise Zabini, which was not (and is abandoned).

None of them are that good, but you could waste some time on them, I guess.

Uncle by Sam_Storyteller is pretty good.

 

Potter is one of the older Mafia!Harry stories. The 1st year story is complete and there's a 2nd year sequel which was put on hold. I remember them both being fun reads but nothing spectacular.

Reading a bit of this again, really showcases how much Water Mage has progressed as an author. Over 9000% improvement.

But more important, as a plot bunny, has anyne amde a story were Harry has Carte from get Carter as a mentor? I know, the timeline doesn't match, but a upligft could be made. And hell, he is the badass gangster. And british. And he is Michael Cane. Also, they could meet Jules and Vincent. Made right, it would be epic. But just a short scene.
