Do you think that there should be AP classes in Hogwarts for people that are really, really smart and stuff? I mean, if they can handle it, they should be allowed to. Take Hermione for example, if she knows everything in the, say, CP classes, she would be moved up to AP in a muggle school if she hadn't been there in the first place. For getting into the classes, though, you would need to take a test and have teacher recomendation, and approval from the headmaster.

Are there magical universities though? All we ever hear about is Hoggy-Hoggy Hogwarts & equivalent foreign schools.

True. Maybe there should be universities for certain things, like potions or transfiguration, or just as optional schools that you here about in seventh year.

Yes, well, just because there are none in the book doesn't mean that an author cant make them up himself. I think that a magical university would be a good idea for those that want to further their education with further study. I think that Ill make a new thread for disscussing magical universities...

Personally I think that while there may not be magical universities, there are certainly additional magical schools... I mean look at the shit the Unspeakables deal with. No Hogwarts graduate, no matter how intelligent would have the knowledge (based off of Canon education) to deal with that stuff. And although their knowledge of the veil is pretty primitive, the rest of the Department sounds like a top-notch top-secret research facility to me.

what about the experiance of the real world. i mean they get stuck inside the school all year around. they needs some experiance for getting a job right.

there should be unis for magical education.
