I do love this story. I mean it's one of the ones that inspired me to write my trilogy. And definitely agreed that Blot is one of the funniest.

Though I must reluctantly admit to sort of tiring of this fic's formula. It's hilarious, great, cracks me up all the time, but we're 27 chapters in and we have a long ways to go. I've seen the Blot working on a couple other ideas on his yahoogroup, and I just don't want to see this fic get stuck like Lord of Caer Azkaban sort of has. Still in the meat of the middle of the story and left hanging. It's the same complaint I have about most of Shezza's stuff. Just loses steam and desire on what more to do.

I think he's still got to go to like Australia, Asia, America, et cetera before we near the end of the story. That's going to be probably another dozen to two dozen chapters and 50K more words, at least. And I just don't want to see this fic stuck or simply repeating itself, you know? And I definitely want to read how it ends more than I want to see more of the "Man Who Knew Too Little" sort of hijinx fun.

Nevertheless, this is fantastic stuff and kills me all the time. Can't recommend high enough (especially if you like my fics).

Yeah, he already kinda started repeating himself...

I mean, that first scene with misplaced portkey (when DE's fall from the top of a hotel in Switzerland) was hillarious.

But then he used the same idea 3-4 more times, with a train and candy machine and a new jail etc...

I mean, however good some idea is, repeating it over and over again won't make it any better...

It's kinda like that Azkaban parody story and Eppy the house elf - Funny at first, but not after using it over and over for next 20 chapters...

I'm actually starting to agree. Its losing its value, still Hilarious, but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!.

Also, there was no apparent need to add the Architect and the Doctor. It feels like he's trying to breathe life into a dying patient. Let it go. Its run is course.

Still funny, and I still recommend it though.

I don't want to start an anti-Blot wave of feelings here.

I just think there's going to be a limit to the number of times luck favors Mr. Black and I find it funny. And rather than push that to it's limits, I'm really curious how its going to end. I've seen a few drabbles about 'way down the line' on his yahoo group and it just feels like that's really far off in the story.

And yeah... for me the jury is still out on the Doctor and Architect. Probably the Architect moreso than the Doctor.

I just had fun picturing a scene with with them all drinking themselves silly and passing out, leaving Harry and Henchgirl up. Drunken Harry whispering to her:

    "Wanna know a secret?"

    "Sure."

    "I'm a student."

    "What?"

"Just finished fifth year at Hogwarts. Supposed to start my sixth in about a month. Shhh. Don't tell anyone."

"What? No! Don't pass out! What?"

    That was funny. LOL.

AND I still recommend it, but its wearing thin. Still, if you haven't read it, READ IT!!!

And, as I said before, I did like Umbridge getting killed.

This story did start out very well, especially that travel dude at the begginning. But now, meh, too many things at once. Altho I do like everyone thinking that he is God and him being completely oblivious to it.

    New chapter 28 up.

"AN: Harry has a few more places to visit, brief stop in India or Bhutan . . . maybe both. Japan, Australia, and then America before heading back to Europe for the final few chapters."

/me looks for Senor Blot trolling this thread anonymously.

Another lovely chapter. Though he went and used the animagus form my dimension hopping Harry was going to have. Probably still is. Oh well. As long as that Harry's alternate Backstreet Boy name...err I mean other nickname he goes by, hasn't been overused recently.

But it sounds like Blot's aware he's been dragging a bit and has a decent idea of how much and what he has left. Yay.

I just joined his group and it's really great (especially if you don't mind to receive a bunch of emails each day). He's practically writing all his stories there, with the help of his members (that is members of his yahoo!group...).

Excuse the silly question, what e-mail? I'm member of twenty-surplus Yahoo!Groups, including high-load ones like "jeconais_fanfiction" or "potterplace3", and haven't got a single e-mail delivered for any of them. The secret is (if anyone doesn't know) that you can choose for each group how to get the messages, the choices being 1) single e-mails, 2) daily digest, 3) special notices only and lastly, 4) no e-mail. Makes group membership realy convenient.

I'm well aware of that, but what's the point of being a member of any group if you don't receive messages from it? Yeah, Daily Diggest could work too I guess, but I personally prefer to receive each message seperate (so I could delete what I don't like and easy find what I DO like).

Well, I'll say this much, I too am in that group among many others, and I don't get e-mails from any of them. It'd be too much spam for me. I just read all the posts when it's convenient from the groups pages.

I get the e-mails for my own group. But I'm No E-mail in all of the others. And yeah... it was Blot's formula that I copied for putting up partials of chapters as they're written. And it helps that he has all sorts of odd ideas (bad unintentional pun) that he'll write up and post sometimes.

It's all about the mygroups page. You can still view all the messages, at your own leisure, reply to them, and at a quick glance see which groups have a lot more messages, or new files up, etc...

I'm with radioactive in that it's easier for me to read them when I want to, rather than check back and realize there's 50 new messages from two diff groups. I think we're in the minority in this, but if you want to join more than a couple dozen yahoo groups I don't want to think about how many emails you'd have to deal with.

I keep divulging story details in hopes someone will steal these ideas, write the fic and then I won't have to. Course when I eventually do get it done, as I know I will, there won't be anything in it I haven't already said.

But I thought I'd just let him go by a pair of initials that don't match up to him but have lovely meaning in the wizarding world. And like a good old nundu, "When you absolutely positively got to kill every motherfucker in the room… accept no substitutes." Like A.C. Slater's older brother. No not E.G., R.J., J.R., J.B., or C.B. (bonus points if you caught that movie reference... a hilarious and underrated flick).

It was either the initials or Deus (for deus ex machina), since he'd swoop in and save all the crappy fanfics that bug me.

Eh, it's probably that I've been deprived of 24/7 (or any other kind of) internet for a long, long time. I receive probably around 200 mails each day and I LOVE IT (for now, at least). It's a problem when I leave for few days, but since I'm working on comp for the better part of a day, it's alright...

Ugh.... 200 a day? That's a lot. You must be a lover of spam to not mind all the junk cluttering your inbox... It's easier and more convenient IMO to just read the posts in the yahoo group. I don't get you... :?

If I'm not arround, then the emails pile up and I get the same thing as when browsing messages on myspace, only
    1) Already saved on my comp (so I can keep the messages I like)
    2) Faster to browse than to wait every individual message to open up from web
Even if I don't feel like reading them, I can just mass-select them and delete them, so no harm done.

But if I AM around, then I receive 5-6 messages per hour, so I'm always up to date what's going on and I can easily participate in discussions etc...

    So, I win either way.

    Updated.

"The team got ready and we all took our positions," tears fell under the death eater's mask and his voice became shrill. "Nothing happened, wormtail ate some bad shrimp and had to get his stomach pumped, then he was hit by one of those street taxis, and then he ate some bad curry and is currently making my Lord's water closet smell like a week old corpse . . . other than that, nothing happened."

"If nothing happened," the dark lord asked in false calm. "Then why did half the team burst into tears when they got back? Why did the other half wet themselves? AND WHY WON'T YOU STOP SHAKING?"

"He's just trying to trick us," the death eater giggled insanely. "Trying to get us to drop our guard . . . but . . . but we're too smart for that."

"CRUCIO," Voldemort had to resist the urge to cry . . . you just couldn't get good minions anymore.

A Death Eater and Lord Voldemort

    Hahahaha! :D
