    Friendly fire seems to be pretty common in general in more modern wars. Example Time article.

    I will grant that the kind of deliberate friendly fire like you're linking is one hell of a lot rarer, though - even if the rationale makes a certain amount of twisted sense.

    If you're not posting funny pics you're off topic. Please refrain from starting shit fights in this thread in regards to people's personal beliefs. If you feel like the subject matter of the picture crosses a line then report the picture.

    Take the shit talking else where or make sure it has some context and above all be funny. Or take it to discord. Idgaf about your political beliefs or what you think is socially acceptable. There are forums to discuss that and I expect a modicum of civility in regards to it.

    Wasn't the whole deal skewered in Disney's favor though? If I read the whole background for this correctly, Son previously only had earnings (95%) from the films, while Disney had 100% from the merch sales? And now Disney wants to alter the deal in their favor, so they could get 50% of film profits, while still keeping the merch sales all to themselves. So really, it wasn't splitting "our" profits, so much as Disney taking Sony's profits and offering little in return.
