Hi,

I just read "Timely Errors" by Worfe and quite enjoyed it. It's certainly no masterpiece, but its writing is really good, even though the plot is not.

So who can recommend some other stories that take place during the "marauders'" time at Hogwarts? Possibly involving time travel, or not?

I know that lots of these fics are rather bad - so who has good recommendations?

Similarly interesting are fics where Harry (or Hermione, or whoever) goes back in time to go to school with Tom Riddle Junior. Here as well, I know some very bad fics, but also the great "Welcome to Hogwarts 1949" by Ohyeah100.

Amulet of Time series. Quite old, so I don't know if it aged well. It goes from Founder - Grindelwald - Maurauder's time

Otherwise, there's a french fic called "Les Portes" but I don't think there ever was an english version.

I don't have anything else with Maurauders I'd be interested in one too.

And yes, there is a reason why none of those fics is Marauder- centric... it is because the Marauders --- suck!

Unfortunately, not much of a plot, especially, not much conflict - but nice writing, a nice read!

 

Set somewhat after their Hogwarts time is Dark Marauder by BajaB, also in the Library.

There's also the Harry/Bellatrix story Passageways by jerryway69, which appeared in Almost Recommended. (It's sort of "meh," but whatever.)
