Impression I got is that he's feeling pretty good about the way Endgame turned out. Might be a hint of that old arrogance seeping in, especially with the way he responded to Wong's warning.

Man...reading some of the comic book forums is just depression. So many people nitpicking and bashing Holland/Marvel's of Spidey.

But yeah, this looks a lot of fun. I'm feeling a touch of MCU burnout at the moment, but looking forward to this.

 

This is shaping up to be all three spiders against each of their villains. This is going to be fucking insane! I’m totally seeing this in theaters on a couple tabs.

 

I can understand the burnout to an extend, I'm a bit meh on Eternals even if it looks cool...but like Shang-Chi and Spiderman look freaking dope.

I don't care if they're using the previous version to prop themselves up. As long as they do so respectfully, I've love every minute of it. I enjoyed both previous iterations of Spiderman, so I'll be happy to see them again.

What would actually be smart of Kevin Feige and the MCU is to just drag Raimi and Garfield into the MCU, permanently. Every iteration of Spiderman is beloved. Can you imagine the merchandising? Kids and fans wanting their personal favourite Spiderman toy, the clothing, the fandom. Just make a Spiderman Cinematic Universe inside the MCU and call it the ten billion dollar idea. Add Spider-Gwen and and Miles Morales Spiderman, too.

Anyway, just some dumb thoughts.

 

Grabbing Emma Stone for a Spider-Gwen movie would be bank.

Also a Disney+ Series with Maguire and Dunst raising a daughter.

 

I would say that Spider-Man in highschool is just waiting to be done as a show. The only problem is budged because even with a movie budged it would be tricky to have him use his powers as often as it would be expected for even 10 episodes.

 

I kinda think that's already been done with the numerous animated shows honestly. I"d like to see something more mature and adult for spiderman.
