Yeah, I watched the trailer but this ... really didn't reignite my want to watch marvel movies again. (The comparisons the the winter soldier, which I didn't really like, don't help.)

I'm not sure what they can do to get the majority of the lapsed audience like me back on board.

 

Was that a red hulk at the end? Is there a yellow one? Blue?

Red Hulk is a classic Hulk villain. Nut yeah, not interested at all. Marvel lost me a little after the first Guardians.

 

They should have kept it tight.

Black Panther, spiderman, Dr Strange and Shang Chi as the new core.

Any and all other character as treated like Hawkeye and Black widow, used as supporting in a main character movie.

They can do what they want with TV.

 

I just don't buy the Falcon as Captain America, he's missing that presence that Steve Rogers had, which just made him seem both human and larger than life.

I wonder how he beats a red hulk without super strength though.

 

Is the new other Captain America from the Falcon show dead? I never finished watching it.

No worries, I never knew their names in the first place. I think the only MCU show content I've seen is half of the Falcon&Bucky season and some clips of Loki.

Russo brothers are back for next two Avengers movies.

Like… they are obviously trying to get back the old magic, especially after the minor reset of D&W which is killing it now. But this almost seems desperate.

I'd say there is no seems about it. Though if RDJ takes even half of the sheer acting power he utilized in Oppenheimer I might actually give a shit about Dr. Doom for once.

 

The Russos and RDJ back in the MCU? Fuck, I don't care how desperate it is, I'll take it and enjoy it.

 

Didn't really catch any of this beyond the reveal. Did they talk about it all at comic con? Are we going to get Variant Tony as Doom or is it like that one evil Iron Man arc?

Or is he just inexplicably and randomly playing Victor now?

Anyway I am more than excited for the Russo brothers being back in the MCU. Other than James Gunn, they are the only ones who really knew how to make a good MCU movie.

 

I hope they keep canon and he never takes off the mask. Really earn the truck load of cash he got.

 

Unfortunately, you just don't cast RDJ and hide him behind a mask.
I just don't see the Disney big wigs accepting that as an option

 

He'll be masked for the first half, so they can do a big mask-off mid point reveal where everyone gasps:

"Tony!"

"No, Doom!"

 

They haven't said, but I would bet an arbitrarily large amount of money it's gonna be Doom is alt-universe Tony Stark where he never meets Yinsin and has his come-to-Jesus moment, likely with prominent facial scarring from the Ten Rings' ambush/kidnapping.
