From what I managed to gather it's a diablo style action RPG. Looks fun and it's free with all the playable heroes having a small drop rate.

 

You're right, it's Diablo with superheroes.

I was in the closed beta and the game is a whole lot of fun while it lasts, but I don't know if it'll have much staying power. The PvE endgame was only patched in at the end of beta so I didn't get to play around with it and I generally avoid PvP in any game not specifically built around it. Once you've gone through the story and hit level 30... I dunno how much fun there is to be had. Just grinding for rare hero drops I suppose.
