I stopped watching it for a while but the promo looks good. Sif!

 

Its watchable, but I get a really strong Power Rangers feel from this show. Its almost cheesy in a lot of places and in a lot of its story telling.

 

Was so hoping they'd kill Skye this past episode. Or at least pull a Jean Grey death/transformation to make her more interesting.

 

She is alien, what more do you want?

 

An overhaul of her bland personality.

 

Man is inheretly weak... Right. I forgotten how much Joss irritied me when he smacked us in the face with his feminist bullshit.

Sif was nice tough.

 

That's actually one of the things that's keeping me watching . . . it feels like the show isn't taking itself too seriously, which lets me sit back and enjoy the cheesiness. It has almost an 80s A-Team vibe to it.

I think if they tried to be more serious, it'd backfire and end up looking more like the Charley's Angels reboot that lasted all of what, 10 episodes?

 

Holy Shit this one was one awesome episode. That ending. :fire:awesome

Am I correct in thinking that an alien mind was controlling the Clairvoyant, rather than the clairvoyant is an alien himself

Nope, as revealed in the episode there is no mind powers involved in the Clairvoyant storyline.

I'm getting a little worried about the show . . . it feels like the writers have the powerboat warming up and fonzy's looking for his leather coat.

It all depends on how the handle the "Everyone and everything is now suspicious" melodrama in the next few episodes.

 

Have we ever discovered what that formula was in the episode that introduced the back scatter eye implants? If it is such a secret, the importance of it may be key to the series.
I am betting that Agent Richard Lumley is doomed to die, so let the team know that the ones after Skye are on her trail again.
Also the only place where even a trace of the GH drug is hidden deep in the bodies of the ones it saved, so those two will be on great risk.

So, considering how Winter Soldier ended I wonder if it will effect the show at all...

 

Uhh... huh. I guess that just happened. Don't know if it makes me more or less interested in the show, but... at least something is happening? That's good, right?

 

I...I really don't know what the shit to do with that ending.

That Simmons girl is an idiot.

Ward is almost on par with Romanoff fighting wise - or atleast thats what I think they tried to imply with the fight scene and all those agents.

ANd holy fuck that ending...

Prett sure Ward is undercover, and he didn't really kill Hand. That look/nod between him and Coulson as he left was pretty suspect, and Hand herself said they knew fairly little about what was going on with Hydra - having a man inside could be extremely useful. Other people are theorising that he has one of the eye implants and is being forced to help Garrett by the clairvoyant, but I like the undercover theory better.
