I just read that book Eragon, it knocks JKR's shit out of the ball park.

I think its brilliant. ANyway, that Paolini dude knows how to write better than JKR.

The quality of the books past number 4 has certainly show she's tapped out of ideas and is just using assloads of Quidditch and other bullshit menas to fill in gaps until she can finish book 7.

unfortunately I must agree. The books are so-so, but the fanfics are the best!
The last book had me falling asleep frome boredome.
Goodkind -you know, after the second book it wasn't so interesting anymore, but the first one- yeah, that one was really good.

 

the idiots who say its build up obviously dont read fanfiction cause they would see that half the shit JKR writes is from some fanfiction so any buildup that takes place is gonna lead to some stolen idea in the end. either stolen or horribly cliched most likley both.

 

my opinion is that the book after OotP were worst then even.

HBP has almost no thrilkl in it. and Voldemort isn't even showed...

Yeah, i have to agree that JKR's writing is going downhill. In the begining, she had some good ideas, so the first couple of books were good, but after that.....The Sucked! I dont know if shes using Fanfic ideas, but I really wouldnt be surprised. Heck....I wouldnt be surprised if she was a member of all the forums and fanfics she could join......Makes you wonder. 8) Who here is secretly JKR.......................................

I think some of the coincidences are just that, but there's others that really make me wonder. Especially when the entire attitude of all the characters drastically changed in HBP.

 

If I didn't know that HBP was actually written by JKR and just stumbled upon it on FF.net I probably wouldn't give it a second glance. Even if I did read it, my reviews would've not been pretty. There is just to many amazingly written fanfics with pretty original ideas which I cannot even begin to compare to JKR's latest book. To put it bluntly, she had talent... the keyword there being HAD.

You all do realize the the final battle will end with Harry facing Voldermort and while thinking of his "love" for Ginny cast some curse or something, super-powering it and wiping Riddle from the face of the Earth, right. Our only question should be how does she lead up to it and will it suck as much as HBP.

 

Some how that seems frighteningly accurate for the final battle... Thank god for Fanfics!!
