That might be a good thing, in terms of people not being able to flavorgame

Short answers:

For BSG, make humans town and Cylons mafia (or flip for reversed setup)

For Mass Effect, make Shepard + Shepard's crew town and, uh... antagonists? mafia. (Like literally ctrl+f that page I linked for "antagonists")

For DS9, make Starfleet+Bajorans town and Dominion+Cardassians mafia (or flip for reversed setup)

 

I'll figure it out haha, I specifically don't want flavor to play a role in solving the game/determining players' alignments, so I'll tune it to prevent that (but still allow some fun).

I have some thoughts in mind that I was going to do for my own self-game, so I'll just use those flavor ideas

 

haha I had this same thought. As much as I enjoyed the ME series, the antagonists were quite forgettable. I knew sovereign, saren, and the illusive man, and recalled Kai the assassin when I looked at that page, but beyond that it's basically the reapers / cerberus as collectives.

 

Citrus, I still believe I am quality co mod material.

Ok. I'm finally done with exams, SO going to get the setup sorted out and everything, and then aiming for as early as possible role distribution, and then opening the game-thread + mafia chat (if any) with game-start. With game-start aiming for Saturday afternoon (so 24 hours from now-ish).

Day 1 will be a little long to compensate for the fluid game-start and it not being concretely announced til just now, so maybe 96 hours, and then remaining days will be 72 hours (and eventually shorter near late-game).

There's a checkbox under the "Additional Options".

The title of the bookmark will be the same as the "Title" field above the post box.

If you edit the post, you have to re-check the "bookmark this post" box.
