Alright, thanks for the help with the Flitwick search, people. I got some good reads out of that.

Now, aside from Flitwick, and forgetting the idea of Snape completely, can anyone point out any well written Mentor! fics? Dumbledore, McGonagall, Sprout, and even Nicholas Flamel sound like good possibilities to me. Well...maybe not Sprout. Anyone got any suggestions for a good read featuring any of these as Harry's mentor?

The Apprentice/Journeyman Potter stories were pretty good Inky, I just wish Journeyman had been finished.

Alchemical Reactions was alright, too, Chicklepea, but not really what I wanted...so I'm going to narrow this down some, lol.

Can anyone point me to well-written Harry Potter fics where he has a mentor/protege relationship with Flamel, Dumbledore, McGonagall, or Flitwick (with emphasis on their particular areas of magical expertise) AFTER starting Hogwarts?

It's overall a good fanfiction and features a Zabini mentor.

It is a Harry gets adopted by Nicholas Flamel story. IndependantHarry. Manipulative Dumbledore. Niceish Snape. Slow updates but not a bad read.

That's all I have of a sort of mentor story. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for though.
