I have noticed that in several posts there have been talk of how Christmas is a pagan holiday with others referring to Saint Nicholas as a fat Hobo. I will put this simply, if you make fun of anything on Christ’s birthday I will hunt you down and cut off your testicles with my spork and will eat them.

Well, I didn't say anything about "charismas", but I'll say a few things about "Christmas".

Christmas is actually a hodge-podge of other religious holidays based around the Winter Solstice. (Mainly Yule and Saturnalia.) The word Christmas itself is actually derived from "Christ's Mass".

Some guy popularized the idea that Jesus was born on December 25 in a reference book for Christians around AD 221. Early Christians in the east celebrated the birth of Jesus as part of Epiphany (January 6), although this festival focused on Jesus' basptism. Christmas was promoted in the east as part of the revival of Catholicism (as this particular religion is wont to do) after the death of an Emperor in 378.

I'd like to point out that no matter how much anyone says Christmas is a "Christian" holiday, it does not change the fact that it started purely as a pagan winter festival. ^.^

I'm not even getting into Santa Claus -- he's all from a Dutch fairy tale.
