Well mostly it's because you aren't in the mime QT, but I've also really liked your barely contained paranoia, your opinions are very logically reached, and you're basically the only player in this game with no WIFOM.
And let me tell you, it's super hard not to troll the town as scum in this setup.

The truth is I've been inverting all my reads since the end of D1. Seemed like a decent strategy for this game since scum have to decide who to NK based on what who we think is towniest. Not sure about that anymore, but I enjoyed making stuff up at least.

Tom on the other hand:

My (completely illogical) reads are just be an extreme case of town paranoia to him because he knows I'm a villager.

I get your intitial townread, but the town!Necomb i know would start getting slightly paranoid that she has not died yet, considering that she is that obvious town etc.
But you seem to not care at all.
And after your initial jab nothing happened between you and tom.
If one of you flips scum, people might try to spewread you and believe that your topscum has top be town and thus clear them/want to lynch them.

So yeah - the world where you are both scum exists, it is more likely that only 1 of you is scum, but i would not be the very least bit surprised if scum!Newcomb goes for that play.
