Not gonna address my case against you tom? Not feeling much pressure? Could be you're vanilla and not concerned for your own well being, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and point toward that recent game in which the last surviving scum was flippant as hell and nearly rode to victory on that.

This... is not the usual Fonti. Like at all. Where's the smug(ish) confidence and the hunting effort, the casual dismissal of concern for her own survival displayed in Narutomafia? This is giving me flashbacks to CYS(where she was scum).

No comment on my (strong) opinion that she's a Mime? No rebuttal, but rather when she quotes my post she erases any trace of anything negative about her and latches onto only the maybe-positive?

So you'd rather hand the Mimes a free pass for a fifty percent advance toward their wincon rather than trust that those around you who are more familiar with Fonti can reign her in? I mean, are you serious? I read your response to Jan and I don't feel much better about it.

I disagree. Fonti may have been the only one with actual votes on her, but when you see a multitude of users prior to you equal to or better than the amount of votes placed that are saying they'd be willing to vote the same user, IMO, that equals more than a hint of a wagon.

Then once more trust that those around you with more familiarity may have a few things to say about Fonti and take that into consideration when you're reading her. Dig through a game or two of her behavior as both town and scum and see if what's being said matches up to give you a better idea of her meta. I'll admit that when I got back into mafia last year-ish I had no real working estimate of meta but four games since then I've come to value it quite highly. Players acting outside of their meta tend to have an agenda.

And I'd like to continue my no-death streak from the past four games into a fifth, but I haven't kept at mafia for a while now and I don't trust myself as much as I'd like leading into another Endgame(it was damn close in my only witchhunt on FS). A lot of what you're posting is Mime-centric, Rubicon.

If you can remember my play as town, Jan, I'm pretty sure I spoke in length to Mathblade during Narutomafia that my scum play is to shut up, sit down, and make minimal noise that would draw attention to my behavior and inevitable slips, so I find it a bit peculiar that you say you don't know my scum play.

I appreciate your backing here but that line is bothering me, especially in the context that if you're a Mime it allows you to get away with using "I have very little doubt of that" on my towniness.

I think the mimes are more likely than not voting for me as a. it helps them in the long run and b. it's an easy place to be voting while claiming to be joking around.

 

I'm pretty sure Citrus' alignment will be obvious in a day or two.

Does that clarify? You haven't exactly given me a solid town read and the way this game is built can allow for anyone to excuse their behavior away because the goal isn't survival.

I haven't seen you play scum, i think. Therefore my metaread on you is limited to the fact that your play up to that point was in line with your town meta.

Which is still enough to be fairly certain that you are town.
I remember Narutomafia, but I do not remember your exact conversation with Mathblade. I know there was some interactions between the two of you early on, but not the exact reasoning.
Someone told me the metaread on you that game which was a 95% fit with my read on you at the time, thus a fairly easy townread.
You have a very similar feel this game.

And your last post did not lessen the read.

I don't think fonti is towny or scummy so far, so we will disagree on that read.
But she is pretty good at clearing towns anyway, so mimes have to either keep her alive for the paranoia or kill her so she can't clear people.
win-win for me if she is town.

I googled the first few, which is why I initially called him scum.

If you google the author of his first quote and the word mime you get :
"I am Mime, and I will show you the wellsprings."

Which is too good to be true, but I want to believe he did it on purpose to fuck with me.


Most of his other quotes were pretty obvious direct responses and as such not worth researching.

Well, I'm not advocating that terrible plan anymore.

It's not exactly MyLo, because the odds are inverted - there are more good lynches than bad, so it still favors town. I think the main reason it's a shitty idea is that it gives scum another NK on obvious town, which we need to take away from them -- that's priority #1.
