clearly danzo couldnt last for two minutes before he was Lee-ified
Was that actually canon!Danz or was it intended to be his father or something?
I can't recall that canon!Danzo was part of the civilian council.
I think the author meant Danzo himself. IIRC the Sandaime, who is in the same age group as Danzo, is constantly complaining that he's 'too old for this bullshit', and he'd be around his forties as well. Well, the author himself stated that his knowledge of Naruto comes from reading fanfiction, so a few errors here and there are expected.
a new oneshot spinoff of the spinoff of the spinoff...
i have no words for this one so i'll just borrow Lee's universal fallback:
The Will of Fire
I think the Naruto offshoot is actually better then the original. Author really came into their own writing this.
I left them a review with more or less this sentiment, and explained why I felt that way.
Definitely agree that this spinoff has ended up being better than the original work, the characters have a much greater ability to act as a foil for Lee in interesting ways.
Big fan of Dead Last embracing his new role as the Avatar Translator, the great bridge between this world, and the Spirit World Lee's world.
Yeah, the main story lacks someone like Minato, he's my favourite character in this one by far.
Minato Namikaze and the Destroyer of Worlds has been updated with a new chapter.

Brought to you by Scryer story thread updates.
I opened this thread by mistake and thought, what the hell, I have some time, might as well give it a shot despite how odd it sounds.
Half an hour and four chapter laters, I mainly wonder why this story exists.
Y'all have some very specific humor sense, I think - I can't say I 'get' any of it, or even understand what the draw of this story is. At all.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Minato Namikaze and the Destroyer of Worlds. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical chakra most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Eleanor's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation- her personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Minato Namikaze and the Destroyer of Worlds truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Eleanor's existential catchphrase "The will of fire," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as The Carnivorous Muffin's genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Minato Namikaze and the Destroyer of Worlds tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid
I'll be straight up, I love this fic. More so than the original, although I do admit wizard Lenin is brilliant and amusing as hell.
It's crack to say the least but it's a good kind of crack and a lot of the amusement comes from things flying in from left field. I'm rating it four out five because while it's amusing and I love it, it's not perfect and I can't justify a five out five.
