SO. We have an awesome new plugin to use as an elevator! Star Gate Ring-porters! 8D

They only work for vertical transportation, but hey, who cares, its awesome. They have to be directly vertical and at least six blocks away from one another. But you can move yourself or items up and down.

They work pretty simply. Build Format:

Blocks placed in the '1' position can be anything at all. Empty, air, wood, etc. All blocks in position '2' must be the same block type. They can be any block you want. Wood, stone, obsidian, but every two must be the same type. Blocks at 3 are the same, but must be a different type than 2. For example:

[wood][wood][stone][wood][wood]
[wood][stone][*wood*][stone][wood]
[wood][wood][stone][wood][wood]
[empty][wood][wood][wood][empty]


To use them, once you have both built, place the items you want to move in the center, or stand in the center, and right click the center '2' block. In the above, you would right click the [*wood*] block.

There go a few months of my life.

 

Okay. Today was wasted on making an epic-ass pirate ship that blows the old one Jon and I made out of the fucking literal water.

Special thanks to Jon, who made starting this project possible, Nornicus, who stayed with me for hours on end to help me finish this, and to a bunch of others, including: Winthug, silverlasso, Walrein, and Oz (I might have missed a couple. Punch me in the face if I do).

Focusing on the Flag. I am immensely proud of the design on the thing, and kudos to Norn, who worked diligently to complete it despite my fickle demands.

Holy sweet flying fuck. I may have to join the server now, because that is just beyond awesome.

 

I am in awe of the epic pirate ship...

 

Alright, how the fuck does fly work? From what I see /fly gives you a big glass platform to stand on, but I can't figure out how to get it to ascend or descend. Plus considering I tend to build in glass mostly, the platform is made out of glass, and it deletes any glass block it touches.
