Notice: Minecraft Server is down for ... a bit because I am currently downloading the map and going to import a huge portion of hogwarts for ease of use.

Killing it so you dont build a fuckload of shit and then it get deleted because it wasnt there when I downloaded.

Blame PDO. Nigger wouldnt shut his damn mouth till I did it.

 

If you bitches weren't so lazy, I wouldn't have had to make the first layer of Hogwarts on my own.

When the server's back up, the Hogwarts build team is gonna have a bigass outline to build on. It's gonna be fuckin' epic.

 

Damnit vash a little warning on IRC or chat next time, just spent two hours on and off trying to log on.

Great Hall is going to be bigger. Just to get that out of the way.

 

That's nearly exactly what I did. The only difference is that I made the entrance hall and the area behind the great hall more diagonal/angular than your version. All in all it's an easy fix if it comes out retarded, but I tried to keep as close to original as possible.

Edit: I also left the wall that surrounds the quidditch pitch unfinished so we can make it suitably enormous.

One random note about the Hogwarts layout:

The movies have the main doors of the Great Hall along the short axis, opposite the staff table, but I think the book makes it sound as if the Great Hall's long axis is adjacent to the entrance hall. In some descriptions, Harry and company come in somewhere along the side and have to walk by the other three tables before reaching Gryffindor:

Before I forget, me and lasso have been talking about having a survival tournament of sorts underneath the pyramid. The pyramid's ground level is a glass floor, and below that a large expanse of land. And a lot of mobs.

We were thinking about giving each participant a chest filled with the items that they could use during the rounds. Then whoever lasts the longest without dying wins.

And then maybe for the first few rounds whoever wins gets a spot in the little town we're going to build in the top half of the pyramid.

Would anyone be interested in that?
