Whenever I get near trees or big buildings I start lagging like a mother fuck. Anyone now what the hell is going on? It is really irritating. Really irritating.

And can you just command blocks to come out of nowhere? I spent like two hours making a shit ton of glass. Then signed in to find lots of huge glass and wood buildings (which, by the way, caused me to lag a fuck ton).

 

After watching most of these videos, I don't care for Reddit anymore. They can go fuck themselves. DDoSing and calling some kids parents over a little greifing? Fuck that, they can go suck a dick full of rot.

 

The main greifer sounds like his balls still haven't dropped.

Continuing in the pirate theme, I'm currently in the process of building an epic DLP analogue of Shipwreck Cove from the PotC movies. If anybody wants to make a smallish ship to stick into the cove or make a small apartment once the dome is done, feel free to message me.

Lagging near trees/buildings is unfortunately a fact of Minecraft life. However, to adress your second question, you most certainly can gift yourself items. Here's the command:

/give __ 64

First of all you have to fill the blank space with the ID of the item you want. Here's a list of IDs of all the materials found on Minecraft. It'll make your life easier, trust me. Secondly, the 64 represents the amount of materials you're giving yourself. You can only give yourself a maximum of 64 materials at a time (the magic number of Minecraft.)

So yeah. Hope that helps.

Might be easier to make a giant hollow sphere in the ground, like 60 radius, and then fill it up, that's what I was getting ready to start working on. As for trees, just turn graphics to fast mode, if you have a pack it should just turn the trees to solid blocks and leave the rest of the stuff normal.

ROFL Vash. Anyways, other than Hogwarts, the coolest thing to build would have to be Minas Tirith. I bet it would look super epic.

New update for the...something. Ambient Occlusion is now included with Minecraft (so no mod needed). I'm afraid to try to install the flying mod again. I miss it already, and I haven't even played today.
