I can't connect to the server for some reason. I have tried several times, but it won't work. Do I need to enter an IP? (I don't know what an IP is.)

 

In our first addition to the DLP Battlefleet, I humbly present Buckbeak's Roost




Since we have our Flagship Lily's Ember and the destroyer Buckbeak's Roost I call on our other members to help build the fleet. Remember, shipping wars are a hell of a lot more interesting with actually ships.

 

If you're going to build a ship, build it in or around the cove, please.

The Cove is going to be my project for the forseeable future- it's huge.

It's still unfinished, but i'm planning on a full-blown shipwreck cove island deal. The entire island will be one large harbor/cave/tower/residential area/fortress.

So.

Yeah. You'll find it starting at the Lily's Ember, then moving towards the front of the ship, and keep going. It's right across the bay.

Just take care to not make your ship higher than 15 blocks if it's inside the structure.

 

Zombie, I am also unable to log-in to the server.

I haven't a clue what this means

Hmmmm, I was able to get on the server earlier. Maybe it was the recent update. Guess that I am going to commit some support to Notch. He has done a great job.

 

Ah Minecraft. Where you can take one stack of 64 coal and turn it into eight stacks of 64. Totally legit.

Just bought this a few hours ago and I'm loving it so far, mainly been playing in single player and just learning how to play. Although I did have a quick look the DLP server just to see what you guys have been doing.

 

I don't seem to have permission to use kits or make gates. My home spawn has been reset and when I tried to connect a gate to Lasso's portal in the pyramid, it didn't work. Anyone mind helping me out?

 

Kits and the old gates don't work anymore. There's a new type of stargate that you have to use. Also, the vertical portals don't work at the moment, either. Most of this is because we moved to Bukkit and some plugins haven't been ported over.

 

Just got booted off of the server, and can no longer connect.

Also, now that I know we have Stargates... Cheyenne Mountain build will follow the Recognizer and Encom tower from Tron.

 

Glowrock was MCEdited from Cobblestone otherwise all legit, went through two large chests full of glass and 2 of cobblestone then another chest of stone halfblocks for the floor. Needless to say my mines are quite extensive and theres a desert biome thats now a hole.

 

Impressive. What texture pack are you using, by the way?

 

Glimmar's Steampunk texture pack, bit of an issue with the grass ontop not matching the sides of the blocks at the moment but it's being worked on.

 

Bump with a picture of my newest automated train station. Don't mind the hideous castle on the floating island. I abandoned that project ages ago on account of the ugly. Also, Slopes mod.



After taking a break from landscaping (I will never destroy another mountain without TNT) I've started on my medieval village that inexplicably has trains. Currently not using my HD texture pack on account of too fucking lazy to replace it after update, so excuse the relative ugliness.

Next up is a wooden mansion and farm, then I'll probably get started on the wall (have 5 double chests full of cobblestone for it.)

 

Bump because of sweet ass Pegasus, many Unicorns, and the beginnings of a massive farm. Ignore the partially started courtyard for my village.




In other news, it seems the model for the tamable wolves has been released. Seems they've actually added idling animations. They tilt their head, sit, and shake water off of themselves if they go swimming.

It's still nowhere near as awesome as Mo Creatures, but it's still pretty cool, and it will (hopefully) work in SMP.
