Pretty epic indeed... It completely blew my mind.

It isn't all of it that is done by hand though, they stated that they had used some generator to make a lot of the terrain.

I totally agree with some of the youtube comments. Those guys got to have autism or way - waay to much free time.

Making it an RPG server as they stated could be pretty awesome. We will have to wait and see I guess. Thanks for the link.

 

So I got Minecraft today, went to look around the DLP server, got completely lost looking around someone's stone castle. By the time I got out it was night so I went to sleep in their bed... only to wake up to a creeper standing over me.

So yeah, sorry about that. There's now a hole where your bed should be. I swear I closed the door, but maybe not.

Not sure if it's something on my end but the server keeps crashing on me. I can't use stuff with right click and when I craft stuff it uncrafts itself.

 

You might still be in the spawn area. You can't break or place blocks within a certain range of it.

Otherwise, it's lag.

 

Yeah, it's some pretty serious lag. Ah well. There's always single player.

 

Server needs a restart.

 

Would that destroy all the stuff?

It seems silly for me to mourn my humble abode when there is so much more impressive stuff on the map, but dammit, I'm attached to that cave now lol. And my little cave tree.

So I keep getting this thing, it goes "You feel the pull of the Earth beneath you" and then something about the wind.

Anyway, I'm stuck bouncing up and down barely able to move. What do I do to get rid of it?

Did the method of spawning items change or go away?
