He doesn't do it often. As long as you don't listen with full volume their videos are pretty enjoyable.

He does it at least once or twice in every video they make which is more than enough.

I do enjoy Yogcast, though it bugs me aswell that I have to adjust the volume every damn time he starts screaming.

Edit* Looks like 1.8 is finally here and damn it looks good!

I have played it for a few hours on a new map and holy shit is it great! There are several new feature there is worth taking notice of.

- The light has been changed so that it now has a slightly blue coloured tint outside, while the light inside (things illuminated by torches) has a yellow tint. I looks way better imo.
- The variables for how the caves are randomly generated has improved greatly. I spawned right next to a huge chasm and have so far only explored what looks like a tiny fraction of it. You do not need to mine you way down to the bottom anymore as these chasms expands in several directions underground. It works great with the adventure feature as instead of mining deeper underground, you use the chasms to fight your way down instead and level up as you go.
- Chickens are much more common and they also lay a lot more eggs.
- And damn, those new mobs (endermen) er SCARY AS HELL!!! I observered a couple of them from high above, walking around deep down in the chasm and as they "noticed" me they started teleporting in my direction. Thinking I better get my ass back to my little house in case they could reach me, I started running back. I never made it back as they were suddenly upon me, pummeling me to the ground. Not even creepers have given me such a shock before!
- I haven't seen any pigs or cows around yet, might be due to the biome I have spawned in.
- I haven't played around with the XP or hunger bars yet, but so far it looks good. If you run out of "hunger points" you slowly lose health until you die. Having a reliable food source is vital now.

The only really annoying thing is that they have removed the quick key to set the viewing distance (normally F-key). For those of us playing on poor (very poor) computers we now need to go into the settings every time we want to change the viewing distance in order to optimize the performance, which sucks big time.

Haven't played since 1.4-ish, but 1.8 seems interesting. Can't wait for the rest of the Adventure update.

Also, the Sphax PureBDCraft texture pack is fucking amazing. Probably my favorite texture pack yet.

With 1.8 we finally see the "survival" get put into survival mode.
Piling up a mud hovel to hide in while your first night passes wasn't surviving.
Even now with the addition of hunger we have prebuilt villages, complete with well-lit shelter and grain farms.



Maybe that's good enough for you, maybe collecting your free wheat to make your free bread to eat while hiding in your free tower is enough.

Maybe it isn't enough, maybe you want to be more than ok, more than good enough, more than great.

Maybe you want to be the best and to be the best and to be the best you need the....

I have been playing that seed non stip, so fucking hard at first, I thankfullly quickly found an island to the north, but I barely survived the time it took to get there make a hoe and start farming, Jon is the server off? my little MC thing says no signal.

 

So apparently Easy is the new Peaceful. People only play Peaceful if they don't want to worry about hunger, but you miss out on the AngelsEndermen.

On another note, I want to play SMP again. D8 Anyone know of any good servers that aren't immediately suspicious of new players?

P.S.: That seed is pretty much just like Survival Island, only a billion times harder. You don't get the starting tree.

Dude we have a server... but it isn't on! so I'm also searching, and yeah there is a tree, if your draw distance to far walk to the end of the short island and it'll be slightly to the right way out there. Not sure which end based on spawn point...

 

I'm hosting a server, but I'll probably reset it with 1.9 and 1.10, don't wanna miss out on anything D:
