    Trick to FTB is to disable GregTech's hard-mode recipes (if applicable, doesn't apply to Direwolf) and get a Macerator first thing. Double ore bonus, without having to pay Greg's ridiculous three diamonds for an entry-level machine.

    That and get into Thaumcraft. Srsly. Shit's hax.

    If you use Thermal Expansion machines, a Pulverizer also doubles your ores like a macerator but also gives you a bonus chance for dust (e.g. pulverizing iron gives you a chance per iron ore to get ferrous dust) so it's more "efficient" in that sense.

    The server didn't die, it completely changed... the world I was wondering around in looked nothing like how I left it, I had nothing on me at all...

    What the hell happened? Did the IP change and I was wondering around on a random server?

    The only reason I haven't been getting on is because you're never on at the same time I am, and I need a Portal Gun, dammit!

    I've actually found a pretty nice area that I'd like to build in, but I haven't found the motivation quite yet. I'll probably be on in the next few days, then I'll get to business.

    Is the server still open to anyone joining? I've been having the urge to play FTB lately.

    I'm probably going to self moderate to make it more difficult. Stuff like only using Railcraft steam for EU, and it's Grinder for macerating ores.

    Plus Thaumcraft because it's ballin'.

    Uh, dunno what to tell you. For some reason it doesn't like you guys. :S A lot of times when people have said the server has crashed I've still been on it.
