The portal is super cool, very sci-fi. What are the blobs on top meant to be though? They look like flowers?

Your nether base is triggering me by slipping off the cliff. I'd add some supports to that bad boy.

Lol, I was just kinda adding details without a plan and when I took a look from distance I had the same thought. "Shit, there are flowers on my portal."

I went for this style because it doesn't require a huge amount of detail (like texturing, fiddling with lots of blocks) which goes well with the clunky Pocket Edition controls. My PC situation is shit atm and so it shall remain for the foreseeable future. UntilI I get a new laptop, I have to feed my Minecraft habit with PE. Believe me, if I could, I'd be building this portal on my main world. I will get back to it at some point. I will.

But I also wanted to try something different from my usual very detailed, textured style. I think the portal came out super cool, Nether portal base was very much built to conform to the terrain. I'll try something else in the overworld in the same style as the portal. The Nether base was mainly an excuse to use some of the new blocks.

My guardian farm is working properly now. The overworld part is like 90% build-complete, I just need to do something to pretty up the bridge connecting the ocean monument site to the Nether portal. The Nether part is barebones, function-only atm. That's the next order of business after the bridge. Gonna need to farm some crimson wood, it goes great with dark prismarine.

Got a new player on the Realm, we're getting along nicely so far. I like giving the big tour of the world.

I'll post some pics tomorrow. I'll also give recording a try, see if the new computer can record decent fps for a walkthrough of my base.

    Pics of the guardian farm

I used YT guides for this. There are 25 spawn spots for guardians on Bedrock Edition, so you identify the spots and set up portals to send guardians to the Nether, where you can kill them once enough accumulate. Works really well, considering the fact that Bedrock is gimped when it comes to mob spawn mechanics compared to Java.

I have managed to record a video. Will post a link once it uploads to YT.

    Edit:

    Audio is crap, but serviceable

Progress pics on the nether-side of the guardian farm. It's turning into its own hub. I decided on a modular room design that can be extended, flat walls make for easy expansion if needed and good connection points for ice boat tunnels. Once this place is finished, I'm gonna have to at least get started on the main nether hub for my main base and then work on building proper tunnels--right now travel between my base and the guardian farm is ridiculous.

    1. The kill room with a trident killer, collection, storage and a smoker for all the fish
    [IMG]

    2. Staircase down to the kill room, used the new nether blocks
    [IMG]

    3. Portal where the guardians come through and drop into the kill room
    [IMG]

    4. One of the finished modular rooms. Basalt goes great with cobblestone, and green blocks (prismarine, warped stem) go great with grey blocks in general
    [IMG]

    5. Second module under construction, the ceiling's still missing on this one

Finished demolishing old, ugly, cobblestone monstrosities that served as my OG nether network. New tunnels are all hooked up at a uniform height---just 2×1 tunnels or 1 block wide paths over chasms for now, but I can get around and start building a proper Nether network.

Update on the guardian farm nether hub--it's finished

    1. I deactivated the portal to take some pics, show the two halves of the space

    2. The red half mirrors the green one exactly, just with different blocks

I don't wanna totally spam the thread with pics, so here's a link to an imgur album instead: https://imgur.com/a/BCjuRKL

The guardian farm is pretty much finished. Of course there's always something you can tinker with more, but I'm calling it complete. I might return in the future to clean up some of the ocean floor around the farm itself, but the whole thing is really pretty already.

Home improvements! First on the menu, potions lab.

    1. Old lab---I didn't demolish the building, I thought the shape was fine, it was just rather drab

    2. After improvements----I added a chimney for the new fireplace, put up some lamp posts, planted nether trees (technically they're apparently mushrooms?) and bamboo on the roof, bamboo planters around the base of the building, leaves, path blocks----I'm loving bamboo plants for decoration

    3. Old interior

upsgtairs, which was empty and went unused

Decided to tackle a project I'd been putting off for a while now---installing conduits around my island so I can have night vision and faster mining underwater all around my island base. Two of the conduits were installed a long time ago when I first decided to do this.

This is one of the new ones---The Sunken Tower. The conduit is concealed below water level inside the base of the tower. Built in survival of course, but I switched to creative to get the screenshots from high up.

All the conduits have now been installed and are working, enabling underwater superpowers all around my island. Eight in total. The theme is that all are concealed in some way, it's not supposed to be immediately obvious where they are unless you already know. Some of the 8 builds are completed, some are yet to be undertaken. All have been given corny "epic" sounding names because why not.

    1. The Core (completed)
    2. The Rock (completed)
    3. The Eye of the Sea (completed)
    4. The Sunken Tower (completed)
    5. The Great Turbine (completed)
    6. The Shipwreck (not completed)
    7. The Kraken (not completed)
    8. The Crystal (mostly completed)

Locations marked on the map of the island

I haven't taken any pics (will do that tomorrow) but I have now completed my crops farm, a cocoa bean farm and flower farm. I also fought the Ender Dragon 5 times in a row---the dragon always stresses me out, but it's actually dirt easy with some caution, netherite gear, wings, potions and golden apples. I have 6 out of 20 portals and will need 56 more ghast tears to kill 14 more dragons.

Two days of end raiding. Maps are in 3/4 scale (1000x1000 blocks). Went 8k blocks.

After sorting out the inventory after the end raid, this is the totality of space taken the gear, end rods, metals and other valuables. I don't count construction blocks as valuables from end raiding
    [IMG]

The loot from more than 10 end cities (didn't keep track but it was at least 10 for sure)

A lot of the gear is cursed unfortunately, but I can still get xp back from those pieces on the grindstone and use whatever's not cursed to combine into several high end items

Only one pic this time. Update on the Dark Tower, I've got the shape down.

The part in the middle (the skinniest level) will be semi-open to the Nether, probably with some kind of bridge over to a nearby fortress. I'm thinking of putting a few nametagged lava walker mobs (forgot the name) in the bottom level).

New update looked interesting. Although I feel there is almost to many blocks now and inventory management is going to be a shit show.

Bundles don’t seem the fix that’s needed.
