    Republic21: (1) Sacrifice
    Kalas: (2) Rubicon, LochNess
    Riley Poole: (1) Mishie
Sacrifice: (3) Bill Door, Jeopardizer, Republic21
    Rubicon: (2) Uncle Stojil, Kalas

    Abstaining: (1) Riley Poole

With 10 players remaining, it is 6 to hard lynch, and 3 to soft lynch.

    --

Amazing. All of those who are on me are those I've called on :0
3 to soft lynch means I will die at the end of the day if votes doesn't change.

At this point it's a toss between me, Rubicon and Kalas. Funny, the wagon on Republic sure disappeared fast. About Kalas, I still have nothing much to say about him. For Rubicon, with his role reveal yesterday, I thought that scum won't be that daring. However, if what Stojil said was true, scums know what roles are safe to fake-claim. In this case, then my town read of him is void.

If I die, do not mislynch the next day (if the game continues). I suspect that there should be a vigilante role somewhere who can kill another player when there are two consecutive mislynches (I hope there is).

Judging by yesterday's night kills, it should be a night kill and an individual kill with limitations. There is a possibility that the individual kill is from TOWN.
What I think happened was that Wetnurse was able to fire at any player on the first night. Then she kills AngelRick whom she suspected (prolly took precedent over NK). Then scums, in order to put some suspicion on AngelRick, kills Wetnurse who voted for AngelRick. There are obviously other possible scenarios, but I think this is the case. Even if it was a scum individual kill, there are probably limitations and it probably will not trigger today.

In this case, we are going to have probably 5 dead townies (unless they hit someone with NK protection) at the start of Day 3 if I am killed. There will be 8 players left. If there are 4 scums, instant win for them. If there are 3 scums, then a mislynch the next day would cost town the game. So if I die, hopefully there are 3 scums, and you all must not mislynch.

I will not reveal my ability nor my role. For it is -ve town to do that at this point. If you all want me dead I will just die and the mechanics will automatically prove I am town.

Since it seems like no one is going to vote for Republic21, I am going to
    Lynch Vote: Rubicon
because I don't think Kalas is scummy, and because I am town (and currently doesn't feel like suiciding).

I've balanced out the votes. remaining players please make sure there is a kill, be it me or Rubicon.

    Mod announcement:

I will be out of the house at the scheduled day end (7pm EST).

That means one of two things will happen: either there are enough votes to hard lynch someone prior to 6pm (6 hours from now), or I cannot end the day properly until ~9:30pm.

If there is not a hard lynch by 6pm, consider the day ended at 7, and do not post after that time.

And yes, Seven Hours until Day Two ends.

Nono, I want you to continue to post, just saying that each post doesn't need to be a tl;dr. :p

Eido post for N1 say that both were vanilla town, so I don't think one or both had active powers.

Wait. First you say that you don't mind dying (probably because of a power wich activate on death), then you say that telling town your role is -ev town (because of a soup kill maybe?) even if town will know with your death?

I don't follow. Wouldn't town gain more by knowing what your role is, so we can prepare according to it? If we gain by lynching you, we do so, if not we just hope scum don't want to kill you.

If you don't want to role-reveal then stop speaking about your role, as it is it makes you seem even more scummy (to me, at least).

Oh hurr durr. I forgot they were both vanillas. Then it is probably a scum individual kill.

No, scum would gain more info if I were to reveal my role right here right now. Town won't need the information. Also, there is a reason why I am doing this...which I cannot say why.

Again, just like for fontisian, that is not a possibility at all.

Anyway, I'm tempted to switch to you just so your whole scumteam would be bandwagoning on you. ;)

But I'd really prefer Rubicon dying so I'l stay on him for now.

People abstaining and people on dead/unrealistic bandwagons, would you please consider changing votes?

Fair enough. Although I don't think your play in that game was as bad as you suggest - we lost because the Priest was outed D1, more than anything else.

That's exactly what I was trying to do, but it's not scummy. I wanted to see how you'd react under pressure.

While I don't like the OMGUS, your response is good enough to make me not want to lynch you today.

    Unvote: Kalas

Basically. Keeping my eye on him.

    ---

I'm putting together my thoughts and reads right now, will post probably within the hour.

---------- Post automerged at 01:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:33 PM ----------

All right, I don't like the Kalas wagon, and none of the other wagons are likely to go anywhere in the next 3 hours. So I'm down for this 1v1.

    Vote: Sacrifice

If nothing else, I'm not keen on your reason for not claiming. I can think of a couple reasons you might do it as town, but none of them make me think we need you alive.

You have been the focus of at least as much conversation as me, probably more, so your flip is at least as informative. Also, in the event that you're not scum, I think a townflip from you would send town looking toward the players I think are most ambiguous (Bill Door, for instance) while a townflip from me would leave town where we already are, looking at you.

    ---

    Also, reads:

Republic21 is a null-read for me based on his lurking. I think the argument that townies don't suggest no-lynching is stupid, because they do, and it actually makes sense from a certain (incorrect) point of view. I want to keep him alive today to give him a chance to post more.

Stojil's play here is noticably more town than his play in the games Bill Door mentioned. On the other hand, the back-and-forth with Jeapordizer did look weird, and mostly for Stojil.

I don't agree with Stojil that Bill Door is "the towniest town that ever towned". I don't think Stojil's reasons for thinking that are very good either (though plausible).

The fight between Bill Door and Sacrifice is curious and a good reason to lynch one of them.

My gut twinges whenever Riley Poole and LochNess post but I don't have anything concrete on them.

Kalas' response is just good enough to easy my suspicions, but not good enough to make me call him town.

So, I imagine my thoughts are a bit less coherent than usual as I am working and thinking about this.

    Here we go:

I am all for a lynch on Sacrifice, my reason for this is his soft-claim of being an important town role right after putting a lynch vote on himself. It seems counter-intuitive unless his "role" is something that happens when he dies. If it is something that happens when he dies and it benefits town then he shouldn't be afraid of telling us what it is as at this point it seems unlikely that we'll have a better alternative. Also, if it is a positive town role that would help us then we have another argument and lynch gets stalled.

Basically, it comes down to: 1) his power activates upon lynch/death and he is accepting of this OR 2) he is scum playing a high risk game of chicken with the lynch vote. I'm hoping it's 1 because if it's 2 than he's retarded and just screwed himself over.

On the flip side though, if he does turn out to be innocent. Then we have a big issue as BillDoor has been pushing his lynch in earnest and we should focus on him.

I feel for now our best shot if Sacrifice is town, is to look closely at BillDoor and Jeopardizer. BillDoor for what should be obvious reasons and I stated my reasons for suspecting Jeopardizer earlier.

    Lynch Vote: Sacrifice.

Okay, so Sacrifice is on five votes at the moment, which is enough for a soft lynch. And according to the timer Eidolonic posted at the start of the day there are 22 minutes left. If anyone else votes for Sacrifice it will make a hard lynch and the day ends then.

    Day Three Begins!

    It is a new day.

The allied forces make their way into the Great Hall, and find a rather unappetizing sight. A bald head severed from the shoulders of the person whom it belonged to.

As they stand there in shock, processing the death of one of their comrades, a shout is heard. They naturally follow the voice, and see something entirely unexpected. A dead body lying in the hallway, face down.

They roll the body over, and there are multiple gasps.

The body is missing a nose.

LochNess and Uncle Stojil have been killed!

LochNess was Kingsley Shacklebolt, the Auror.

    He was the Town Cop.

Uncle Stojil was Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord.

He was the Neutral Serial Killer.

Well that was helpful of the Third Party (or possibly a vigilante activationg after mislynches); assuming that Stojil wasn't the third party himself, but Lord Voldemort was probably a mafia role.

I suppose I should go Lynch Vote: Jeopardizer. I knew there was something odd about that day one exchange.

Uhhh Bill. The ' neutral serial killer' sounds pretty third partyish to me. Voldemort doesn't make sense flavor wise but still.

Hmm, maybe. I should really read that stuff properly.

Actually, is that something you can clarify, Eido? Does that mean Stojil was aligned with the mafia, or not?

The listed role and alignment when someone dies is 100% accurate.

Maybe third-party means not on Dumbledore's nor the Minister's side. We have Tonks and Lupin (and Kingsley) who are represent OotP and Arthur (and Kingsley) for the Ministry (and even Neville for Hogwarts). It's pretty far-fetched but I can't really find what could make another scum-team.

Maybe different town groups have some sort of super-victory conditions?

I like how you skip over the part where Stojil trust only you and me :p

I will not comment on the exchange because I don't think I could convince you otherwise, and the only real argument I have for not reading too much into it is "Would scum really be THAT obvious?", but that's the shittiest argument ever.

What I feel we can learn after all this (light reasoning): The scum team could be something like Stojil/mishie/Rep21.

D1 they avoided each other, and each voted for someone different.

D2 they still avoid voting each other, except Stojil who place a vote on mishie (the first), but then switch target as soon as a 2nd vote appears on mishie (by Rep21). At the end of the day they still vote for different people.

The weakness in that is of course Rep21 also voting mishie, but it could be them trying to throw a scummate under the bus. Or Republic is not on the scum team.

Either way, I feel mishie is bad news for town.

Bill Door and Rubicon are my solid town-reads, then its Kalas >= Riley > Republic21 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> mishie.

It's a quick assessment and I will go back and re-re-read the thread more carefully later, but it's all I have for the moment.

Question: why the fuck did Sacrifice lead us to think his death would be useful? Can't be for his all-powerful power of doom-vanilla so he was either trolling or it was thread-related. Anyone has an idea wich they can share?
    (Or a converting power?)

Neutral SK means you wins if everyone else dies, I think.

I have a theory about Sacrifice's soft-claim, but I'd rather hear him explain it himself.
