    And then unvoted.

EDIT: Or not. Mixed up you and Lucky and Rents for a moment there. As an aside, the search by author thing has stopped working since the database crashed.

No I didn't. I just voted for Sacrifice, I never unvoted.

No posts? Alright. I'm out. I really don't want to be lynched, but I probably won't be awake to defend myself. I did my best.

Are we going to do anything today? There's 2.5 hours left.

    That's nice. How about now?

When, exactly, is your definition of 'later'?

I'm not at all happy about either of you. What is this supposed to be?

Was there anything? I think for me, it's a combination of it sounding genuinely upset and sad, while at the same time being simply wrong. The two don't go together, and that's why I pause.

@Lungs: What went through your head, when you posted #175? And since we're already talking, I tried to read #244 three or four times. It's impossible to understand. It's like you vomited words onto the page. Was there anything important in it, and if so, could you write it again in a ... I dunno, more cohesive/less cryptic/actually structured manner?

    Lynch Vote: Sacrifice

I've said your scum since Day 1 ( but not without leaving myself room to backtrack from that eh?? ) you haven't changed that around any today and then there's 359. The gap between what you read and what you think you read is bad enough, but there's also the entire sense of conclusions leading to analysis which is just incredibly scummy.

@Sesc: It does appear out of place. There had been several posts in the minutes preceding it. I can't find anything particularly scummy about it but it is odd like you say.

@font: At this point they seem to be repeating themselves and talking past one another. I don't think it's distancing. Several of Sacrifice's posts today have been scummy and he has gotten quite defensive at points. (Not really sure what sort of answer you wanted. Hope this suffices.)

Actually, seeing as we're not yet at soft lynch:

We're one vote from hard lynch, so no one jump on the Sacrifice bandwagon. I'm really glad I saw Caesar's post before voting. For now I'll:
    Unvote

    Caesar: That works, thanks.

#175: I was poking lurkers because really there were like 5 people who were talking, even though there was a lot of talking between the 5 people?

#244: A combination of evidence against you and a poke to see how you'd respond to deliberate and continuous aggro, when it started out.

Then I kinda realized I was reading every post anyway I decided that it would make much more sense to create a hypothetical scum team you were on, and it blossomed into that complete monstrosity.

Pretty much what the comments after Player Name #post: is what I read from the content of the post, pretty much how I see what that person said at that point, or a response to anything aimed at me, or general questions. I knew I should have quoted. :\

... which would have been more effective if I actually had understood what you were talking about >_>

    I'm reading stuff like

and stare at it blankly. And the entire post is like that. If you still want reactions, you might want to consider reposting it.

One last thing. By now, I feel I've got a pretty good grasp on the game. So those are my impressions, for what it's worth.

    Caesar -- Town
    Fontisian -- Suspicious
    Guljons/Lexicat -- Suspicious
    Kalas -- Town
    LuckyLee -- Town?
    Lungs -- nada ... Town?
    Rents -- nada ... Suspicious?
    Sacrifice -- Mafia
    Wetnurse -- Suspicious

There are a few degrees to it. I'm pretty sure about Kalas and Caesar, a little less about Luckylee, but still comfortable. Wetnurse 1) has a bad reasoning to vote for me, 2) isn't posting. With Lexicat, it's because her vote came just after I had started the Sacrifice case, and one strategy to prevent a lynch is opening another wagon to split the votes.

Fontisian is actually quite town-ish, except she wanted to lynch Caesar who is probably the most Towny player in the game, and seemed a little reluctant to go for Sacrifice.

And as for Lungs and Ollie, the latter is, as I said, so Null it doesn't get any Null-ier, and while I considered Ollie as exactly the same (also due to his lack of posts), he slipped down towards suspicious today because his absence by now is too blatant to ignore.

If I were to rank it by importance from Must Lynch/Pressure to Could Lynch/Pressure

    Wetnurse
    Lexicat/Rents/fontisian
    Lungs

In the cases of Wetnurse and Ollie, that might change quickly though if they finally posted :|

Since day is almost over, I'll say that I wasn't completely honest with this question. In the last game Eido modded (Battle School), the person protected by the bodyguard was not informed. I was hoping scum would claim to have been protected, thus giving themselves away. Oh well.

Sesc: It's not that I'm reluctant to believe Sacrifice is scum as much as I'm reluctant to believe you are town, considering how many times I've been burned on that account. The one thing I'm sure of is that you two aren't on the same team.

Question for you: Say Sacrifice flips third party or town. How would your reads change?

    @fonti
If that happens, I'll start to cry and quit playing. I seriously haven't considered that -- didn't really have time to either, considering the insane amount I have invested in the Sacrifice thing. I guess the most obvious effect is that Kalas jumps from Town to Suspicious immediately, since his Town read is based on Kalas != Sacrifice.

Also, post #317, the very bottom. I had the same thought, but haven't been able to figure that out. Maybe you will.

    Day Two Ends!

A long day was spent with the guests arguing over who could have possibly killed their beloved Don.

I mean, who could have had motive?

Besides the thousands of enemies he'd made, that is.

They were stumped, eyeing each other suspiciously, until the Don's son was overheard talking about what he'd do with his inheritance.

    Motive, eh? Sure, why not.

He is promptly trussed up and interrogated, and night falls with them fairly sure he organized the death of his own father. Surely he wasn't working alone... but who could have helped him?

A few dozen bullets are deposited into his now-lifeless body, and people curl up and go to sleep, pondering that very question.

    Sacrifice has been lynched.

    Vote Count 2.4
Sacrifice (6): Sesc, Lungs, Luckylee, Kalas, Caesar, Rents
    Sesc (2): Wetnurse, Sacrifice
    Luckylee (1): Lexicat

    Abstaining (1): Fontisian

With 10 alive, it is 6 to hard lynch and 4 to soft lynch.

    Day Three Begins!

    A new day dawns.

People rise, and mingle, with grim satisfaction being the mood of the morning, after the fruitful events of the day past.

Until they notice the dead body of the kindly old gentleman they all held dear to their hearts.

His throat had been slashed violently, and it didn't appear to have been a clean death.

    Messy.

Anger and outrage spill forth anew, and they resolve to figure out just who is still betraying the family, and killing them off, one by one.

    Sesc has died.
