Is this just a stupid line of inquiry?

 

Town Masonizer/Neighborizer are basically the same, to be honest. They both mean "someone who can target someone else to set up a private QT between them".

There's a role that targets someone and makes that person's alignment known but I think that's called a Friendly Neighbor or Innocent Child or something like that.

Kai>Proph pretty much. There is sort of an issue in that both proph/cobalt didn't really exist early game (and jason didn't really interact) so reading either of them is kind of leaving me feeling funky.

Newcomb/Proph, before any hammer can you think of anything like, proactively townie cobalt has done?

Like the mechanical and related-to-mechanical requirements for cobalt to be scum are steep but there wasn't anything in his pushes that stood out to me in an exceptionally positive way.

 

I think Proph wanted to take tomorrow to re-read Sloth. As long as people will be around near EoD to hammer then, just let it ride IMO.

Re: Cobalt - I don't know if you can call it proactive, but the way he got into it with Citrus over that mechanical how-to-play-Doctor seemed like he was driving an agenda he cared about and believed.

Acionyx I still don't feek the Jason/Proph case at all, like the way Sloth talked about him just... doesn't fit my idea of what scum do with a partner there, especially a newb town partner. Like - how would he have any idea if Jason was about to just scum all over the thread at the slightest pressure and make him look really bad? It's risky, is my point, and Sloth just oozed "I'm careful."

I mean, I think I've made my stance clear. If we're wrong on Kai though I'm dying 100% of the time tonight I think, and I'm a little worried about F3 of you/Cobalt/Proph.

Yeah that's why I think it's kai here; the thing I quoted earlier felt pretty red-capeish for someone just rolling with a townread ally

Well, he does and he doesn't.

I think the pile of complex stuff with Cobalt really boils down to him waking up on D2 after he got un-busy and realizing his team was fucked, and just doing a hail-mary. No-kill N2 to set up the doc claim, then waflfing when fonti came out with "i'm tracker" and semi-cleared Kai and Citrus, like he wasn't quite sure what to claim - probably even considered claiming straight up (which would be the "slip" I pointed out earlier), claimed VT as a kind of hedge placeholder - like, all that kinda towny scrambling and theorizing and stuff kiiiiiinda makes sense through the lens of "welp this is pretty much my only shot since I'm in the PoE." But with his energy/tone I have a fair bit of trouble actually believing it.

I just believe it more than I believe Jason faked those newb ovbtown things and Proph faked a dumbtell about daychat.

I don't know ANYTHING for sure and I'm still thinking it damn well could be Acio or Proph.

But I still think this might end the game.
