I actually read this one of my own volition. Fucking epic, though it seemed a bit stale compared to some. The Future Diaries were very cool though.

 

I'm greatly enjoying this. Yuno...makes for a great stalker.

Although she does get a little too close to Glen Close's character from Fatal Attraction at times.

I stopped reading that half way through lol been following it since it came out but now i'm just waiting for the manga to finish so i can read it without waiting.

 

I never had heard of this manga, so I went and read all of it yesterday. I can't believe what I was missing. How often does it get updated?

 

Once a month, I think. You can get the general date of the next chapter by checking when the previous ones usually came out. For this one it can be any time. He doesn't seem to have a set pattern to his publishing.

I usually prefer anime over manga, but Mirai Nikki is fucking great so far. I'm only on ch. 11, but knowing me, I'll probably have it finished by tomorrow.

 

Pretty good. It's getting a little repetitive, and I'm a little lost at times (the author doesn't feel the need to explain away certain things, and instead jumps from one chapter to another.

Like, when Yuno was in that building, luring Yuki's friends into that "hotel"? Where the fuck did she get a command center, an electronic locking-from-the-inside-of-the-room door, and a compartment to release sand? It's surreal.

Maybe that's the intent though? A lot of scenes are dream-like.

Great stuff. I especially like how the roles of "Protector" and "Damsel" are switched up, the girl obsessing over the boy and protecting him, rather than the boy having righteous and chivlarious feelings for his 'true-lurve'.

A way to explain why Yuki won't have to kill her at the end of the game?

 

I've thought of that as well, and it's a bit disturbing, but in the recent chapter...

She actually admitted that Yuki wasn't good at something, which is a step in the right direction for her, like getting a link in that chain that's a few links short.

Neither do I, my use of the right direction was meant for the right direction for sanity. I actually would prefer her to stay insane. On the plus side is that the kanji that was used to spell tied to gather is, according to the translator, usually means in a marital or sexual act so I am probably over thinking.

 

After putting it off for a while, I finally managed to read it. It is...Ok. Not my kind of manga or something I would take time out to read, but it is one I would read if I had nothing better to do.

Yuno is epic though.

Well that's one way to get me interested in the manga again. I was wavering for a while, especially with the lack of updates, but now I want to know what happens next.

I've seen it before, but I've never read it, because the summary on OneManga sounded sorta lame. Could someone give me a general summary of it?
