The three month timeskip is interesting, and allows for some interesting character progression. The fact that powers are slowly becoming more and more mainstream with each episode.

I was completely expecting the Jesus guy to have gotten the Immortality power and to rise again after three days. Interesting that he stayed dead. Didn't expect Nikki to stay dead, though, and the fact that the characters will have different powers...

The power transfer guy came out of nowhere, though.

 

Didn't like it at all. It advances the plot of the series nicely, which is good for the future, and the character interaction was still nice, but everything came out of nowhere, and some of it is ridiculous.

Who the fuck exchanges the power to go back in time for £20k? I can't be the only one who thinks that's the stupidest thing anyone can ever do.

Apart from that, the way the timeline from last episode is sort of mushed into this one is sloppy, and I can't grasp Simon very well at all. Did he suddenly decide he had to jump off buildings?

The whole pregnancy thing was pretty typical of the kind of thing this show does best. I'm torn between laughter and disgust.

They were never supposed to be terribly smart, but in this episode that went from a realistic feature to some sort of transparent plot device.

 

Nathan fell out of the stupid tree and hit every branch on the way down. Also does it not seem a bit OOC for him to suddenly care about some random stranger...?

 

Not really. He was getting laid.

The fact that Curtis gave up his power was the thing I thought was most unbelievable.

I thought Nathan giving up immortality for two thousand was even more unbelievable. two thousand? Really? Can you imagine how much someone would pay for immortality?

This episode was stupid, and it was obviously that they were going for a fun relaxed Christmas special to prepare for next season.

Nathan's scene with the birth was hilarious though. "You're giving birth to an alien!"

 

Okay, page 1 of this thread was enough to convince me to 'acquire' this.

Every time that I'm reminded that Sheehan won't be returning, it makes me sad again. Whoever he is replaced with will never be as awesome (and hot) as Nathan. </3

And, sorry to see him go. As much as I hated him initially, he really did bring the group together. Annoying fuck that he is.

 

The fuck? Nathan is the half the reason the show is so damn funny. Without him its all just angst and personal issues. :facepalm

 

Heh, I heard this news months back, so, you know, had time to process. I'll still watch and no doubt love the new season, new guy and all, while lamenting the fact that to a UK actor, 13 episodes of one show is apparently too much and requires him to drop out (Cause hey, it was Robert that dropped out IIRC, not the showrunners being mean and trying to destroy the good thing they had). Shame, but nothing we can do.

 

Misfit new online episode saying good bye to Nathan and introducing the new guy.

Also new episode in like one hour.

Edit: Apparently season 3 will only start in November. My bad :facepalm

A rather poor send off to the best character in the series.

I have to say, I loved how it started and what Nathan was doing with his powers in Vegas, but the ending was just disappointing and a huge let down.

 

That really was disappointing. I'm going to miss that sexy fucker. :<

 

There is going to be a US remake of Misfits from the guy behind Chuck, Gossip Girl, The OC, and Hart of Dixie. The UK creator/writer will co-produce.

I don't have much hope for this. Then again, I don't have much hope for a Nathan-less series 3 either, so we'll have to see how this all plays out.
