Recently I was reading Like A Phoenix From The Ashes by Kinsfire (don't flame me) and there was scene a with Myrtle during final battle. She helped them scout out where Voldemort was and when Voldemort did finally die she went on to the next great adventure.

While I wouldn't be surprised if we never hear from her again in the books don't you think this is a very simple plot hole to close, along with Hagrid being official pardoned.

Its not like she is a house ghost or anything like that she is just in her one bathroom crying. I'm guessing she doesn't want to stay behind or she is just because Riddle is still alive.

Well maybe she can't move on because she just doesn't want to. When she died she didn't know how or who was responsible so that wouldn't be the thing that would keep her on Earth. Hagrid being offically pardoned wouldn't really do anything either because it's not like he can just go back to Hogwarts and finish his education. What would it solve?

the story in my eyes I guess would have a conclusion for all characters but thats probably asking too much.

Completion is all good and fine, but don't you want to leave something hanging. Leave the reader questioning something and not just the same happy ending that everyone else has...?

Hmm. If it really has nothing to do with the plot, it isnt really needed. Unless your all for everyone living, or in this case passing on, happily ever after.

I only want one person to live and thats Harry.

I know how unrealistic that sounds but come on he deserves something to go right in his life.
So he survives and Ginny dies, boom his life is infinitely better.

We've never seen any evidence that ghosts can pass on. I mean, Nicholas is five hundred years old.

We've also never seen evidence that Hagrid was charged with anything back in his school days. They just say that he was expelled, but allowed to stay on as gamekeeper. After being falsely imprisoned in the second book he was let go with a "full apology." I assume that means a pardon, or such. Besides, the Ministry isn't going to go all out to make a half-giant feel better.
