She's low impact. Dislike her Miner read. I don't really get her "I agree with Jan on a lot of stuff" thing but it doesn't ping. In a font vs. Rubicon slapfight, I'd support Rubicon. Maybe even buddy him a little bit.

font's early game is always mysterious. tom's just a weirdo. Waco RVS'ing me looks like he's avoiding making an actual vote or commenting on Rubicon/Jan, but he always does it, blah blah blah.

 

I'm not originally from this site so things might be done differently here. I was just stating my opinion. Sorry if it came across harsh or what not.

 

General question for the thread:

if someone is acting unlike their town and scum meta, what is the first thing that comes to mind about them?

Been slow on the uptake, haven't slept so well lately and going to try and get some sleep in a few minutes. Please clarify the 'she's low impact' comment? I figure it is about Fonti but what did you or I say that lead to your post here?

 

It depends on the person. Example: My last town game on PerC someone asked me to link a town and scum game. My play that game didn't look like either game I linked. I was read scummy because of it and was mislynched for the town loss. Coming from that recent experience, I'd say most people would read it more scummy to play differently than see before. But then again, there was more to it than that, that supported why I died.

If it's so unlike them, usually it would give me a red flag. There was another game where a guy ended up buddying me day, which he had never done before. I read that as scummy right away, but then kind of forgot about it and was mislynched. He in fact was scum.

So those are two instances where I've seen it result that said person being read as scummy.

But if a person talks about changing their meta, I read that as a scummy move.

But like I said, I think it depends on the person in question.

 

That they may be trying to throw off investigation. Meta is a hard thing to shake however, and one usually leaves behind clues, intentionally or not.

Tom, I've been playing Mafia with Vaimes for like 5 years now. Admittedly I've only played with him a couple times recently but my impression is he's improved significantly as both town and scum.

Quiddity, you and HF are the only two active players not mentioned in Lyric's wall. That's why I asked about those two names in particular.

I'm curious to see where Vaimes is going with that question.
