The two things pro rubicon in my mind are :

He did not change his playstyle when people called him out on it.

Fonti made the kidgloves comment, and he still does the same.
I talked about his vote jumping earlier, and he continued useles probing with his votes (as far as I remember).

The push on you is fairly rare for most scumteams, because they know it is almost always useless.

On the other side. His reason to vote owner was just so bad. It felt like I caught him on something and he didn't find any better excuse.
And the fact that most of his play so far is this bland style of being there without any oomph to it.
The pushes have no power at all and are really loose.
And there are no really hard townreads given by him either. (outside of people that i townread by everyone)

 

Looking bad =/= being bad.

What expectations did you have for his play? I can't remember if you've ever even played with him before outside of Mimefia.

 

Played MM6 with him as a scumteam

Played Hanibalmafia with him where we both rolled town, he was bulletproof i think, got lynched d2 .. was abit of a weird thing overall.

Played Narutomafia with him, where he was scum and got lynched d1, but I was not actually paying that much attention to him in that game.

Not even sure if Rubicon played in Mimemafia right now.


Rubicon was rarely as active as in this game, I think. I have close to no actual meta read on him, so my read on him is basically from a neutral standpoint.
Things he did that I would read scummy for everyone unless I have some metareasons that say otherwise.


Do you agree or disagree with fontis early push on Rubicon or rather the reasoning for it?

Why is Tom so low on your list? I find myself agreeing with a lot of his posts, but I have no baseline for whether that is within his scum range.

 

It is kind of fun for me to think about those games and not have a single clue how Rubicon played in them as either alignment.

I know he was there. I know there was this big fight in Hannibalmafia where we lynched him d2 instead of fonti, when fonti just had subbed into the bla slot, which the two of us really wanted to lynch d1.
And then we didnt because we are soft and are nice to people that just subbed in regardless of how obviously scummy they play.

Anyways. Ruby is not one of the people I could read via meta at all.

 

You can with experience. Once you mislynch me a couple more times you'll probably start to figure it out. My scum and town games are still pretty different, unfortunately for me.

There is no one here who doesn't want to know what you think about each player, whether or not they think I'm scum.

Look at my townlist from earlier and don't lynch my towns.

Those should be Lyric, Vaimes, Fonti, Quiddity, Tom.
Not sure if I am missing someone, but those are a good start for towns right now.

I am fine with my vote on Rubicon. Might set an alarm and check on my phone in case of emergency, but chances of last minute pr claims are fairly low in this setup.
