His reads make sense from his POV.

Rubicon scumread - I used to be a far more aggressive D1 player than I am today. His read on me reflects that (out-dated) meta. He expects me to be driving the lynch, especially if I'm as excited to catch scum as I indicated in my first post. I'm deliberately not driving the lynch, so he scumreads me. Makes sense.

Quiddity scumread - consistent with his Rubicon scumread. Quiddity posted a case on Owner right as I was coming under pressure from Jan/fonti/Zenzao. The case was not very good. So he notes it in his wall as a possible attempt to shift attention onto Owner from someone else. That's a town thought process and consistent with his read on me. With the Owner flip, he still scumreads us both. So now it looks even more like it could be that.

(Could Quiddity also do that thing as town? Yes of course. But if Waco genuinely scumread Quiddity and me at the time, he's going to be searching for scum motivation & interactions between us and other players.)

Other stuff - his responses to questions have been good tonally. No overreaction or evasiveness. Sticking to his guns, explaining himself. He doesn't have a lot of unique reads compared to other players, but he's also not changing with the wind.

The thing about you that weirds me out is the fact that I basically understand everything you're saying, and I don't get that same sense of agreement from many others in thread and I don't really know why.

 

Is your world Von/Cobalt or Rubicon/Cobalt?

Fun fact, one of those don't work.

 

I've had a few thoughts since DayStart that I now need to follow up on. Fresh worlds, if you will, little ding moments worth cross-examining. We'll see if I harmonize these thoughts today or tomorrow.

For one thing I want to go back and cross-examine you to see if you've left the same scumtells from HP Mafia, but as it is you are just an appetizer. I think he said this about takhitty in our scumchat of the MU crossover game. Something about hitting him with a stick and seeing if town candy came out but it was only ever delicious, delicious scummy candy.

Vaimes had no stated townreads in the thread, so if anything it's a good point about his meta.

What context do you see?

Using the first to accuse Waco of having no opinions is pretty odd.

How is that a good point about his meta? It looks to me like Quid is either discrediting those townreads preemptively or calling him a liar.
