Oh. Sorry, I was being lazy. :(

But also, an explanation would be nice.

(unless you also explained, then really sorry!)

Oh, I'm just really happy that someone else is scumreading Waco.

---------- Post automerged at 03:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:04 AM ----------

Also, I did throw out the possibility of Waco/fonti (not very strongly). It would be super nice to be right on something!

---------- Post automerged at 03:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:04 AM ----------

Also, unless it's Zenzao, there's not really anyone here that I'd be devastated/would be insanely shocked if they turned out to be scum. I understand sometimes it's more about the world than the individual scumminess. (Albeit, a scum!tom might make me sad)

---------- Post automerged at 03:07 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:06 AM ----------

Also, Zenzao, I had my own theory about fonti posting a wall this game, but would like to hear what you have to say.

---------- Post automerged at 03:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:07 AM ----------

Hmm, a scum!Rubicon might make me a little sad too, but not like scum!tom would make me sad.

---------- Post automerged at 03:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:09 AM ----------

You know what, I'm not sure even a scum!Zenzao would be earth-shatteringly shocking. I've seen crazier things happen in mafia. (Just fyi, I actually do think Zenzao's almost townblock level)

---------- Post automerged at 03:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:13 AM ----------

Starting to think of Miner as less and less scummy. I don't really know what that means for my wall, though. World-building is hard.

Will try to stop doing my long, rambly, stream of consciousness automerge thingy I've been doing.

---------- Post automerged at 03:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:16 AM ----------

I guess I should just start using my QT.

Eh, I don't get the sense that my thoughts are particularly helpful for town. :/ Maybe in the beginning so they can read me/maybe my questions/pushes so they can read others, but other than that.. I'll see after game I guess.

    That's fair.

I don't care about your lack of activity. That's not why I'm voting you.

I'm voting you for lack of town play when you are here. And these last couple posts continue that trend.

    Ok I'm done.
    Ended up here:
    lyric
    miner-zenzao
    font-fluff
    vaimes-cobalt-waco
    quid
    rubicon

Lyric I've been over. Miner I've been over. No change for me there.
Zen I'm a little trusting others meta reads because they seem right. I've never seen him as scum. I also have just generally liked his solving progression.
Fonti has been very townie. I've never seen this much of her thought process before and I love it. I have minor worries that its a playstyle change for the purpose of being townread, but thats for paranoia if we haven't lynched scum in a couple days.
Fluff doesn't actually deserve to be that high. Deal with it.
The whole gold section has been semi-not here. I'm not opposed to lynching them, but I wouldn't be happy with it.
Quid wouldn't have much reason to kill Jan, but they way he talks to people is very TMI. Part of this read is probably inertia, but the things I had issues with yesterday didn't go away.
Rubicon has made some good posts. Solvey, sometimes logical, sometimes reactionary. But there's a chunk of mindset leakage where he seems to think about peoples' lynchability more than their scumminess.

Ugh, this is mind-numbing right now. The longer I look at posts the more I want to just shut my eyes and go back to sleep. Should have kept a firmer record of what wasn't jiving so I wouldn't have to jump through so many pages and posts trying to remember where each detail rested.

Alright. Let's start from the top.

First off, Waco notes my #170, which is the second post of the game from me,
    while completely skipping my #188,
which is the same format. He calls it 'really tame early on, lacking pushes' when I vote Rubicon but goes completely mum when I vote for Fonti. That would indicate that he does remember my non-RVS behavior. Yet he skips my brief interaction with Lyric that sets up the RVS trap in #326-#329. He skips my #352 where I begin to prod Jan, Fonti, Cobalt, Vaimes, HF and specifically mention how I intend to keep an eye on Fonti, while also clearing Lyric, Quid, Rubicon, Tom.

He skips my #357 and my #376 telling Miner and Jan to pay attention to my posts, he skips my initial wall in #385 and my first major post in #394.

If he wants to stick to that initial assessment from my #170 more than two hundred posts later when he says that it is strange not to have a read on me, he's not paying any attention to what I've been posting. But later he says that he has noticed my inclination to lay traps - yet conveniently in all of the times that he has addressed me or my posting, he fails to mention what I've done that sways him one way or the other. He never nails anything to the wall, and for a guy who is supposed to have 'felt strongly about Zenzao this deep into D1', I find that rubs me the wrong way.

He also does not address my flip on Fonti/Jan/Rubicon despite she herself calling it out. When I prod him over skipping the #394, he has this to say,
Yeah, one line on my second post of the game and then nada about anything I had to say with regards to any other player? What?

(And I'll be getting more involved with the Fonti connections when I'm done with his oddities about me).

Now look closely at the end of his post there and then at his interaction with Fonti subsequently,
First off, no where has she said that she was town-siding me before this exchange(and if you try to point out her #481, I'm going to challenge that - to me it reads as her answering Tom that she plays on a deeper level where she is more comfortable rather than giving me a pass). She later calls my progression a real one, and Waco says that he apparently has noted my posts yet still felt it unnecessary to say anything about them? He does not say what about my recent posts 'help', and continues to be intentionally vague on the matter, almost as if he doesn't actually have a reason to put me in null other than to limit the townies he has to list and keep myslynch options open later. He isn't going out of his way to clear me or push me or challenge anything that I've said about anyone, unlike Fonti herself who pushed me on my reversal.

    In response to Lyric toDay,
Yellow-text: So where is any of that on his read of me? He isn't searching for clues, he's riding a preconceived notion.

Summary: Waco (silently) notes the things I've done yet does not mention them in a positive or negative light until a throwaway line, and does nothing to expand on this. He does not attempt to read my alignment because he is already aware that I am town and has to try and minimize that information emerging.

In his 'catch up' post at the top of this, he says this about Fonti,
    The posts in question,
Now look at his wall and his final remark on her,
So he finds it odd to have Fonti as town-lean, yet he places her at the top of his list. He agrees with her about Rubicon on every occasion, and also,
he finds me scummy-to-null yet calls out Rubicon for getting the idea floated on a Zenzao-lynch for my behavior to that point? And lean-scums Cobalt who should be a firm null?

Jan also prodded Waco over his wall and Fonti connection, and I'm going to repeat myself a little here,

    Waco's response,
See the disconnect between what Waco answers and what Jan was asking?

    Moving on to Fonti's wall,
So... instead of putting Waco into null since his posting is supposedly smack-dab in the middle of his behaviors, she puts him into town. Yet Rubicon, who may also fit between his behaviors(although with noted absence of interest in scumhunting and 'can be helpful as town') she puts into null. She lean-scums Cobalt but does not place a vote on him here.

And one more note on Waco,
From voting Rubicon yesterDay, once Fonti's wall goes up saying 'leave Rubicon alone for now', he moves to Quid. To be fair with this however he had Quid in his second-scummiest slot in his opening wall.

I've been at this a couple of hours now and going to pause here before I go over any more of Fonti's posts.

If either of you think I've misrepresented the truth, come at me. Point out your understanding and we'll see if we meet in the middle.

In the meanwhile, DayEnd is eight hours off, and I don't feel sold on a Rubicon lynch right now.

    UNVOTE.
    Lynch Vote The Waco Kid.

Also, Miner, you can sit on the backburner for the rest of toDay. I really do not feel up to another slog when I still need to go over Fonti with a fine-tooth comb.

I really don't see the connections you make between Waco and font.

Cuz, like, Waco has had a history of not being able to read fonti. In many previous games where I was like WTF how should I feel about X post from fonti, he was always like, "yeah don't worry I'm still confused about fonti after 2-3 years."

He was town in all of them.

If he's scum here, I highly highly doubt that he'd change that trend, and on the off chance he does, I find it even more unlikely that Waco/font are w/w, because there's no way in hell fonti doesn't tell him to stop in scumchat. Reading previous scumchats with fonti says that she wants partners to behave "as they normally do." This does not jive with that.

    Also, welcome dLGN.

Fair enough. Set aside the connection issues, do you see anything in what I posted that supports a scum!Waco world or do you think that I am completely off the reservation?

And remind me why you're down for lynching Vaimes toDay?

Fair points for his readwall, especially the part where you mention how his read of fonti progressed.

I don't really know much about the whole RVS controversy you brought up, so I'll take your word for it there.

I'm not sure if Waco was being vague because he's scum or vague because he's busy IRL, or wasn't really focused on you. I dunno, I just tend to get a vibe that Waco never says everything that you want him to say. Not sure if that made sense but *Shrug*.

Why I want to lynch Vaimes is detailed in my readwall (#993. Also, I'm fine with fonti leading lynches because I get more information about her from who she's lynched/wants to lynch than from her play.

    Agree on this.

My accuracy rate for reading Vaimes is 100% over lots of games. This might be the game I get him wrong, of course, but he is pretty scummy.

---------- Post automerged at 12:46 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:42 PM ----------

    Yes.

But she wouldn't bus Vaimes here, so if he flips mafia, trust her.
