    Just to be clear, quid:
You think you should be cleared for voting vaimes but not actually trying to get him lynched?

How many people do you think are cleared by the vaimes flip?

Also dont put new stuff inside quote tags please. This forum doesn't have nested quotes afaik.

    Lynch Vote: The Waco Kid

    ---------- Post automerged at 02:10 ---------- Previous post was at 02:06 ----------

Going to be looking at waco, rubicon, fluff.

Think everybody else is town off the top of my head.

    Will read stuff tomorrow glgl.

And sorry, forgot caps again, it's late >.>

I think I should be cleared for voting Von, as the pressure was moving onto him, and then not returning for the lynch.

If Von is my scumpartner, than he is in a way better position than me at that point in D2. The wagon on him is just building as I go on, and my jumping on it makes it much more likely he's lynched.

That's fine if I'm around: I can manage the lynch, moving off it as consensus building, be persuaded onto an alternate - say Waco, who I'd expressed suspicion of earlier, and so on.

It doesn't work if I'm going to drop off the face of the earth. I have no control in that circumstance, and if he dies, I'm not in a good position for it, as there's no way I survive to F3.

Like, there's no scenario where I do that to a scumbuddy, in that position, given my position. It just doesn't make sense.

I'm clearing people individually, but Miner, Fonti, me, and Lyric in that order. You are cleared independently. The others all have positioning which could work.

Everyone thinks they should be cleared, and nobody believes self-meta. The cycle continues.

I just went through HF's iso in this game and Stardew again and came away thinking the town case isn't as strong as I hoped, but I still lean town on him.

I saw a lot of shades of the scum partner fluff near EOD yesterday. That and someone pinged him and he responded in like less than 20 mins at some point that I noticed which was his general behavior last game of following the game much more closely than he appeared to be otherwise. I did like the one post fonti pointed out d1 too so i'm kinda on the fence pending further review.

Pretty sure quiddity is significantly different than last game, though, and don't really understand scumreads on him.

Will get quotes and reasoning for my scumreads of waco and rubicon tomorrow.

His Stardew play was basically: lots of questions, lots of bussing DLGN, lots of arguing in favor of town. His scum cases are paper thin outside DLGN.

I think his post about my vote progression may be outside his scum range. And his resistance to the Vaimes wagon is... dumb to be honest. Not impossible but think about it, he is like the only person here who might reasonably expect to win from bussing.

---------- Post automerged at 11:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:23 PM ----------

Waco do you have any recent scum games? How would you rate your scum play? I realized I don't remember.

Wait who was that about rubicon?

Quiddity bussed me the whole game, fluff didn't really.

But then the resistance to von lynch I noted from fluff but don't remember so much from quiddity (tbh I stopped reading his walls like zen's when I got townreads on them).

    ---------- Post automerged at 02:39 ---------- Previous post was at 02:36 ----------

But in general, yeah, I don't think quiddity is one to scumside in my limited experience, especially with von who was pretty absent from this game. Q took issue with my postcount/activity at some point when the game was near locked and I was very townread, lol. I don't think he'd see partner von as anything but expendable / towncred to be gained.

    Final Votecount from Yesterday:
Vaimes (7): Fontisian, Rubicon, Quiddity, Miner, Lyric, Waco, tom
    Rubicon (2): Zenzao, HF
    The Waco Kid (1): dLGN
    Fontisian (1): Vaimes

Waco and Rubicon look like the most likely bussers. Rubicon for making sure he got the cred for it before the flip even happened. Waco for waffling around self pressing all eod and seeming excited to move to Rubicon when it looked viable.
Quid just parking there does seem less likely, because he's right that it's a shitty position to put himself/vaimes in. But it's for sure possible.

If scum is off-wagon, it's gotta be fluffy.

fluff did bus you, just not aggressively.

His tone with you was much more negative from the start:

63: "What does that even mean?"
884: "Anything of value that you want add to this thread?"
894: calling you out for lack of reasoning, "That's all you want to tell us?"
906: "Please interact with people. Ask questions. Point out inconsistencies."
#1122: "I've said it before, and I'm saying it again, but I think DLGN is avoiding talking about things other than fonti for a reason, that being that he doesn't actually have reads/doesn't want to be forced to commit to them."
#2717: "I actually disagree and think that the last two scum are Eco and either Math or DLGN... DLGN has come of in some places as knowing things he shouldn't. I'll try and go back to look for the things that pinged me if I have the time."

(I'm surprised no one called him out for never voting you, unless I missed it.)

    His Tom scum-case:

473: "I firmly believe Actual Reads>Reaction Tests, especially since by claiming his reads are fake, tom takes a position where he can never be said to support or oppose various things since he can use the excuse that whatever reads are inconvenient for him were his fake ones. The more I think about it, the worse I feel."

    His Math scum-case:

1128: "I'm probably not the best Math reader, but I do think there is a difference between her town and scum play. I said this last game, she's more exuberant and her posts usually scream 'I'm town' even when she's wrong. I'm just not seeing that here."

To me, all of these posts feel like they're on a different level of play than his Stardew stuff:

I thought that your readwall was very poor (you put like 4 different people as "too low to really get a read on" yet put them in different tiers) and knowing that your owner read was wrong and your read on me was wrong, I was thinking your reads were too off.

---------- Post automerged at 01:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:23 PM ----------

You know that I was bussing dLGN and planning on bussing you last game, but you think I would be unwilling to bus Vaimes for massive cred?

I thought the timing of your vote Rubicon was extremely poor. It fits well with what I noticed in SVM, where your timing with the ebb and flow of ghe thread was on point, in this case to create an alternative to Von right when he was in trouble.

And as to last game, I think you're willing to bus but reluctant. Did you ever vote either of us?

---------- Post automerged at 01:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:33 PM ----------
Miner okay, I'm not off the hook, fine. But am I really the scummiest from EoD2/play wrt Von.

    vote: The Waco Kid

I think Waco is the most likely suspect here.
