I don't know, why would you possibly do something to lynch your scum-reads when you can just throw out reads meaninglessly and then try a CFD or hop on the end of a wagon after the lynch has been decided??
Rubicon & Miner, please answer my questions
dLGN, you going to bother doing anything... at all?

Zenzao- If this is not Zenzao's towngame, I will be triggered just like I was triggered by fluff last game.

I'm fairly sure scum!tom leaves fonti alive last night. Because if tom is scum, he's been pocketing me this whole game, and if that were the case, he'd one hundred percent leave fonti alive because he knows that the later the game gets without fonti dying the more paranoid I am about font. And font wasn't looking at tom yesterday, so he probably could've gotten away with it. I don't really like his post about fonti's death, but for now, I still think tom's town.

dLGN is a slot read. I don't think Cobalt/Vaimes makes any sort of sense. I have yet to see or play in a game where both scum hard lurk the first two days.

Both the tom and the dLGN townreads I'm willing to reconsider somewhere down the line, but I'm not lynching in them today.

Rubicon- squarely in the PoE. Wouldn't love a lynch on him today, purely because he's a strong town player and he's gotten townier since d1, where he was under the most heat.

Quid- Someone said that Quid's been floating around like a leaf with votes and whatnot. I one hundred percent agree. Add to the fact that he started talking about what we should do in the event that fonti didn't die last night and I'm getting a very "ew" feeling from him.

Waco- I really don't like the fact that when we were all on the fluff wagon Waco's nowhere to be seen, and then today when the plan is to lynch him he's popped up with all this activity.

Pretty much would agree with a Quid or Waco lynch. I think both work with Vaimes, to the extent that almost anyone would work with Vaimes, considering what he's said this game.

It's my birthday. Nothing's happening anyway, but I'll be barely present. Will make sure to be here for EoD.

Just consider my current vote an attempt to CFD Rubicon.
I'll be able to move to Waco if necessary.

    Sigh.

Everything I said to Zenzao, repeated. Go beyond "eww" to explaining why this is done by scum, please.

Also, holy fuck the fonti thing was a joke. I cannot believe you guys are turning that into serious reasoning.

Also, that dLGN read is thin. Cobalt didn't lurk strategically, he didn't have time for the game.

It's done by scum who tries to look like they're agreeable with town in order to not get scumread by them?

The fact that the fonti thing was supposed to be a joke to you just makes me want to lynch you more.

    "Agreeable with town" - I don't understand?

How is this not a joke? It's playing off Zenzao and my surprise at fonti living today, which I'd just spent a while trying to get under who would want to leave her alive longer, and then Zenzao posted this

Apparently I'm tone deaf and everyone thought I was yanking on the paranoia!font chain but. Like, what is actually scum from this? I don't get you.

FYI, my internet is presently cycling between working for a page or two and then not. I'm attempting to resolve the matter. If I vanish abruptly during or through to DayEnd, that's going to be why.

    Unofficial Vote Count:

    Waco(4): Quid(#1443), Rubicon(#1445), Zenzao(#1468), Miner(#1487.
    Rubicon(1): tom(#1455).

    Abstaining: 2, dLGN, Waco.

With 7 alive, it is 4 to soft lynch, and 6 to hard lynch.

DayEnd is 3 hours, 38 minutes away.

Conditions of Soft Lynch have been met as of now.

I quite possibly won't be home until after deadline, on mobile right now. Please do keep an eye on the clock and do not post after it reaches :00. Timer is in day start post (or in the unofficial VC immediately prior to this).

A skim indicates that VC is probably correct, so call it semi-unofficial.

Kinda biased given a bunch of the posts I agreed with (and started to LT read her) D1 were scum reading you. Someone asked me D1 I think after my catch-up why I hadn't comment much on Fonti's Zen reads in my catch-up, which was primarily that they were overcome by events (they made sense at the time given I didn't like Zen early either as previously mentioned, but his shift started to negate that).

By EoD2, I had locked in Fonti ride or die town, because 1) There pretty no way Fonti busses her partner like that in a game with 2 scum, 2) Von would have played a lot stronger (and not folded so hard after Fonti pressed him) if he was paired with Fonti.

You mentioned this before. Walk me through the reasoning. You don't think he would have played stronger with dLGN or Tom?

We pretty much recognize Von's not a strong scum player I think. Pretty sure it's related at least in part to the fact he doesn't like playing as scum. But I've found in the past if he's paired with somebody(s) who's around and can keep him interested or motivate him, his scum game is better. Definitely Fonti, maybe tom, but don't really know. Definetely not dLGN, who didn't get into the game under Von was basically gone and Cobalt was MIA.

I don't think Fonti would have pushed him like that as a teammate, but Von definitely would have reacted stronger if he had Fonti in his QT at that point

I suppose that argument works against myself as well after WH6. I do find it kind of hilarious that people think I would have elected to play this style of game if I was paired with Von given WH6 tho, given knowing I'd have to be the one there at the end.

---------- Post automerged at 07:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:19 PM ----------

I'm be around through deadline if anyone has any questions for me. I do have a deadline in 40 mins in another game, but yea.

---------- Post automerged at 07:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:20 PM ----------

If I was scum, this'd be the point I'd concede. Unfortunately for you guys I'm town. So I'll just kinda dump w/e I've got into the thread to try and help

---------- Post automerged at 07:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:27 PM ----------

That Rubi/tom vote/vote and then conversation bugs the hell out of me

#240 tom (and there are others like it later) Just feels way out of character for you. It's been one of the things that bothering me most of the game. Since when are you... agreeable? What happened to the obstinate tom I remember for AYAW and such. You really haven't pursued your reads that hard, and honestly I've been having TH6 alarms in my head on you (aka scum!tom)

    Jan #250 & the Fonti #282 & #285 both hit pretty hard on Vaimes/Rubi.

Miner #268: Sarcastic or not if you & dLGN are town, this is the post of the game...

---------- Post automerged at 07:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:33 PM ----------

The Rubi/tom thing mentioned starts at #146/147

---------- Post automerged at 07:40 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:33 PM ----------

A separate thought, since I can't die twice.

The two of you (Zenzao and Miner) who have been above all pretty safe from being lynched, and probably are where the NK is going to be, like seriously what the hell was today? You have the bully pulpit as town and Zen's spent more time AtE'ing exhaustion and frustration and Miner's been almost defensively neutral. Damn it drive the game, why let it fade out like this!!

You've got two chances left to get this right. DO NOT SIT BACK AND LET SCUM COMEBACK!!!

---------- Post automerged at 07:41 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:40 PM ----------
Miner, where's the attacking version of you we saw at the end of AYAW4?

---------- Post automerged at 07:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:41 PM ----------

Anyway other deadline's in 20 mins, so I'll be back after that

Only 50 posts and I've read most of them multiple times, still making up my mind on things, and need to finish the few I haven't fully analyzed.

Only leftover thing from EOD yesterday is for quid - can you rearticulate what you were thinking/saying with this post:

As things stand I think I'm between waco and tom by POE but just need to firm up some reads.

    ---------- Post automerged at 19:57 ---------- Previous post was at 19:55 ----------

To be clear, those people are Miner and Zenzao, yes? If so, why zenzao? Just consensus town?

The question is why bother? If you're not planning on winning by parity with von alive, why not bus him with some conviction and get some towncred rather than put yourself in the sort of POE-for-deflecting-from-von group.

That said, does that make you reconsider your clear of Rubicon at all?

    ---------- Post automerged at 20:14 ---------- Previous post was at 20:07 ----------

Miner has been towny despite low content, zen is posting badly/scummy today but not looking there today. Waco kinda trending up and not sure what to make of it.

Quiddity talk to me about why you think tom is towny?
