It's not so much a matter of bothering. There were 3+ people parroting that line in the thread. It'd be easy for a partner to hide in there without really defending Von, and then to be able to brush it aside later.

I don't have Rubicon hard cleared, more just above the fray a bit.

I'm kinda curious, if you think Von was bussed, but your next scum-read behind me is tom? Cause I'm going to be the 3rd flipped town from the 6 on the Von wagon (Font, Rubi, Q, Miner, Lyric, me), make up your mind...

    Read wall please, with explanations!!

I actually feel very similarly to waco about tom, ftr. I may prefer going there today. I forgot what fonti said about tom.

Going to eat dinner but will be here for EOD.

dLGN, if you'd like to discuss the Rubicon thing out with me, and see if we can clear him, I'm open for that

Waco who else in this game could motivate Vaimes?

His push on me just felt like it was coming from town. Like, there was genuine bamboozlement throughout with my play.

That, and I don't see scum!tom backing off me like he did earlier today (yesterday?). I think for scum I'm an easy mislynch, and it's just the wrong time to drop me, when he had every excuse to stick with it.

dLGN, I thought you had consolidated onto HF at that time, and that you'd seen me jump off and ignored my push/CFD on your preferred lynch.

I was mistaken about where your vote was, so ignore that.

Maybe Rubi, if only cause I know Von wanted to be play scum with him for a while.

Not entirely sure about Zen, and Quiddity hours might have left Von alone in scum QT too much to, albeit that's thin. Miner, idk

---------- Post automerged at 08:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:46 PM ----------

Really dLGN, pop up, soft defend the guy about to get lynched (who you've scum-read most of the time for reasons unclear) since you entered. Vaguely invoke dead Fonti's reads as support and then pop out...

I'm not moving my vote from Waco.

Down for Tom if we're still here tomorrow, though.

Like if you're going to make that case, you should be able to make it strong enough that it's not "Waco should maybe live to tomorrow" and more like "I'm hard-clearing Waco" because like, what shot do I have to not be mislynch bait in LYLO

(yes I know tomorrow's not LYLO, but you get my point)

    I'm watching the thread.

Waco, tell me why if you were in scumchat with Vaimes you "couldn't possibly play this game".

Explain it to someone who hasn't read WH6.

And, while you're at it, put a vote down, if only for whoever's alive tomorrow.

Resetting ethernet off and on, trying to resolve DNS errors among other matters. I say we stay on Waco toDay and readjust toward tom/dLGN toMorrow if need be.

I'm still trying to re-skim and see if I missed anything but I'm around...

    Vote: tom

I retain the right to change my mind of the best option for tomorrow...

WH6: TL :DR I was scum with Von & Lochness (And we had a bunch of suicidy roles if I remember correctly). Think D1 was 5 days long. The opening 72 hours or so I was off to a great start and was widely town-read. Then I got trapped at work for 32 hour and passed out when I got home, causing me to miss a large chunk near EoD, which got me PoE'd.

The lesson out of that for me is, if I'm paired with Von, I can't play a game like this that's going to land me in the PoE so early, because Von's not getting deep into a game

---------- Post automerged at 09:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:13 PM ----------

Not that my attempt at playing a deep scum role in TH5 worked any better, but at least we won that one

You kind of mention it yourself, but I don't get your reasoning on clearing dLGN/Cobalt. I honestly can't remember as of this moment(going to check afterward) if d subbed in while Vaimes was still alive, and if so, in a scum!Cobalt/Vaimes world, doesn't your reasoning about Vaimes play-style being weaker without an active partner fit Cobalt/dLGN?

As for you, eh, scum tactics can change but meta is harder to shift. Your reasoning that you wouldn't play the same way twice in a row if you were scum doesn't absolve you and could in fact be used as a defense.

    WIFOM.

So now you're pushing for Rubicon's head again? After zilch from first myself and later dLGN pushed on him, with no comment by you on at least the part of my efforts. Smells a bit desperate.

Yeah, I've been expecting to actually die since Fonti cleared me yesterDay. Your pointing this out is nothing new and actually is kind of like pointing at myself and Miner and trying to lay suspicion if neither of us does die in the Night, which is to say what Quid did re: Fonti yesterDay nearing DayEnd.

I've already put in effort trying to determine who is scum. Since you were one of the users I pegged for it before Vaimes' flip, until I get resolution at this point, I am always going to suspect you in a F3 scenario, and you haven't really convinced me since I voted you that this is a bad idea.

Also, we have 35 minutes to DayEnd.

I'm not clearing dLGN/Cobalt, I'm saying I consider the slot more likely scum because they wouldn't have motivated Von cause Cobalt was MIA, and dLGN didn't appear to be active before Von checked out of the thread the last time.

Call it what you want Zen, I'm dying today already. Explain to me why HF's read drop was towny and this isn't?

It is what is. I was looking to clear Rubi off other info. I'm just trying to give you guys everything I had, and hopefully y'all figure it out.

Honestly Zen, I don't really buy that. You weren't like this in Naruto and other games. You tunnelled people into the ground at times, well beyond the case being made and you're not doing it here. I mean seriously, what's your next step when I flip town, draw straws. Your not pushing people to figure it out...

I mean, really Zen, from the moment HF flipped town I had one foot in the grave today, and Fonti getting shot ended any chance. While I was meta skimming tom & Miner I found a quote I found pretty apt for my situation:

---------- Post automerged at 09:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:31 PM ----------
dLGN, not going to bother doing anything I've asked for, or really much at all apparently...
