The story would be plagiarizing this character.

However - movies based on popular tv series are a cheap way to make money.
Go, call Hollywood.

 

1. Robin (as in sidekick to Batman) trilogy, one movie for each of the main Robins.

(I'm working on it now, so dun stealz mah shit)

2. Trigun, live-action: it could be really sweet or insanely gay.

3. Cowboy Bebop, live-action

4. HALO, live-action

Dorky, I know, but I still think it could make an epic MA movie series. Things like the Glus, Sand Beasts and Soldeen could be done epically if it was a more violent movie.

Biker Mice From Mars - Digitally remastered.

Bioshock would make a pretty cool movie I think, same with Half Life. And Timeshift. And Crysis. If they could turn them into good movies, it'd be pretty awesome.

Oh, and Psi-Ops. I still think that could become one of the best movies in existence, with a decent director etc.

 

Pendragon The Movie.

Grand Theft Auto the movie, Starring Nico, Not Claude.

God Of War The Movie. Troy, Gladiator and 300 on steroids.

Dresden Movies, that follow the book. They Made a Storm front one for the T.V series and it was Meh.

 

The Codex Alera (by Jim Butcher). Those books would seriously make some epic movies. They have tons of magic (therefore they could add in some great special effects), and the whole story line could be put into film without that much hassle.

The only real problem is the aging of Tavi, the main character.

 

Final Fantasy 7, as a prequel to Advent Children. Though I'd prefer a PS3 remake.

Trudi Canavan books, both the Black Magician series and the Priestess of the White books.

 

Bioshock - I know it would be poorly strung together but I really enjoy things from the 1930s - 1950s.

Edit: Plus, Everything would be steampunk FTW.


Catcher In the Rye. - I think it would be an excellent movie.

 

The Dark Tower. That'd be epic.

 

There is at least one Discworld movie. The Colour of Magic. 'Tis alright.

I would like to see Devil's Cape by Rob Rogers made into a movie.

 

Christ, how could I forget God of War? Kratos vs. Zeus or Colossus for the fucking win.

QFT. I'd love to see more re-imagined Victorian Era shit, espeically since League of Extraordinary Gentlemen left a horrible taste in my mouth.

I'd also like to see Jono's Stranger Trilogy done - assuming he pulls the characterization together. And Taure: No lie, I think the ideas you had for 'Return' would be fucking awesome on-screen.

 

Yeah, it was a very visual story. It would have suited the screen much better than text, where I was always overly wary of putting in too much description.
