So, when I first logged onto this site after a good while away (real life took a chunk of my time away), I got this big notice right at the top of my screen telling me about my new Muggle status. Alright, I got it.

I go to lose the window, but find no little x in the top corner. Or the other corner. Alright, it'll just go away, right? Wrong. No matter what page I open here on DLP, no matter the forum, post, user, what have you, the banner will not go away.

I've tried everything I can think of, from closing my window and re-opening it, signing out and back in, restarting my computer, and it's still there. I checked this Tech Support thread and Site Related Support thread, and found nothing about this.

Am I the only one with this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

I think getting to squib will fix it. Try raising your post count to 5. Please do not shitpost though.

Working as designed. If you provide an [X], the message immediately gets closed and ignored. Move past muggle status and the notice will go away.
