I've been to a wide range of concerts, mostly between classic rock and underground hip hop. My style is kind of off with most of you prog rock and heavy metal fanatics, but...

The most lulzy thing that happened was Sage Francis antagonizing a drunk heckler and then punching the man off the stage, before the security guards dragged him out of the club. And all because the man kept saying "Kentucky Fried Chicken" over and over-- Lol.

Hmm... Seen Bon Jovi, The Who, The Eagles, Iron Maiden, Meat loaf, Mastodon, Triggerman, The Answer, Biffy Clyro, Nickelback, Aslan and Velvet Revolver. Velvet Revolver and The Answer were the best though, for the music and atmosphere. Mahon and Slash are fucking amazing guitarists and VR had a great mosh. The Who were amazing, but I couldn't stop laughing at the thousands of 40 year olds head-banging to My Generation.

Gonna see Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Neil Young and Metallica this summer, which is gonna be pretty cool.

Is Knopfler and Clapton together? I saw Clapton in Raleigh last year and he was everything you'd expect--he doesn't play as often any more, however. He had Derek Trucks, Robert Cray and Doyle Bramhall II to pick up the slack, which they did to great effect. However, I had to sit so far away it was like watching it on TV with surround sound instead of a concert.

I know they've played together a lot before, but they're separate gigs this year. I'd love to see them play together though. Some of the videos on youtube are amazing. As far as I know, Robert Randolph and the family band are supporting. Dunno who he's actually playing with though. >_>

Army of Anyone is the one I want to see. I missed Stone Temple Pilots before they split, but the DeLeo brothers are in this now, plus Richard Patrick of Filter. I've got their first CD.

Goodbye and Father Figure Their two singles.

Dani Filth spat on me at a concert. It was about a year back, threw a water bottle up to him and he proceeded to return my water- to my head. Got punched right after that out of fucking nowhere, so I ended up being walked out by a friend. Still damn awesome though.

You're in luck because STP should be getting back together sometime soon. As well as Rage Against the Machine for a few shows here and there.

And I saw Breaking Benjamin with Staind and 3DD....imo BB stole the fucking show...and Staind and 3dd went on after them. It was 3dd's headline but Breaking Benjamin utterly destroyed them. They were just so clean, and on point. Like they've been doing this for 15 years.

Back in the early 90's up until nottingham 2001 (I think thats the date) cradle were immense live, but Dani's vocals are fucked.

Been to see, Macbeth, Draconian, Rammstein, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Immortal, Amon Amarth, Wacken Open Air and Kamelot/Epica.

Best three concerts I've been too were when Korn, Snoop Dogg, and Linkin Park in Raleigh which was one of the greatest concerts ever. Linkin Park is fucking awesome live.

Then there was Everlast when they came to the RBC center a bunch of years back that was great.

And my other favorite was Ozzfest 05 that was fucking crazy with all of those bands playing there

Fuck you are lucky. My favourite band Kamelot never tours Down Under so I have to wait until I travel around Europe to see them.

I missed Gigantour and Somewhere back in Time just recently, but Lacuna Coil is coming soon and I'm not missing that.

Kamelot have an immensely powerful performance, especially when Simone Simmons and Khan sing together. Abandoned was absolutely brilliant live, even better than on CD.

Yeah, I sort of figured that was the deal. I've seen footage of earlier CoF concerts which are better, but recently I've had issues with the vocals. The same goes for the albums actually; Thornography's vocals sucked ass.

Even if everything else about you winds up irritating me, you're taste in music insures that you win.

Which Wacken did you get to? 1997 or 2005 ensures my unending jealousy; I would've killed to see Dissection live. I wish I could make it this year; Watain and Iron Maiden in one spot is sheer awesomeness. I'll be there in 2010 if its still running (it damn well better be) but I'm missing the next two. Transatlantic flights are too expensive for music alone.

I'm surprised there are so many Kamelot fans here, though given their style and lyrics I guess I shouldn't be.

I've been to see them once, it was amazing. Tiny place, not too crowded, it was great. I'll definitely be seeing them again this year. Though, when I saw them they were touring with Leaves Eyes, which is a decent band, but I wish that they had been touring with Epica.

I think my favorite concert has been the G3 tour, which has 3 solo guitarists, in this case Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, and Paul Gilbert play separately, then jam together at the end. It was a great show, and I was seated as close as possible without a $300 vip ticket.

Next week I'm going to see 3, Between the Buried and Me, Opeth, and Dream Theater, which should be incredible. Got free tickets thanks to an uncle who works at the venue too.

Have I done something to annoy you? I fortunately went to 2005, a present from my sister, I was a bit young in 1997 i'm afraid to go all the way over there.

Went to Ozzfest like 4 years straight when I lived in Florida, got to see some really good shows, Rob Zombie, System of a Down (Seriously the loudest show I've ever seen.) Linkin Park, Ozzy, Hed PE, Bad Religion, Marilyn Manson, Judas Priest, Slayer. None of which I'm into anymore, bar Bad Religion.

Seen Radiohead a few times, every one better than the last. Still my favorite band to see live. First time I went to a show of theirs I was sitting on the grass and a dude who looked EXACTLY like Thom York (Except for the Salamander eye) was sitting next to me, dude pulled a piece he had hidden in his sock and offered to blaze. They decided to do 3 encores that show. Good times.

Pearl Jam is my mom's favorite band so I've seen em a number of times. They had already left the stage for a while and most people had left or were starting to, when they popped back on stage and did a spectacular cover of Baba O'Riley... Made my fucking lifetime. Remains the best song I've ever seen live.

Lots of other shows throughout the years.

Went to Summer Sanitarum back in like... 2002. Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Metallica.

Deftones was one of the most awesome shows I've ever been too. Top Three live performances. Awesome stage presence. Limp ...well... they're limp. :/ Linkin Park is awesome live as well.

Surprisingly, when I saw them, 12 Stones put on one of the best Live performances I'd ever seen. Awesome stage presence, and a bunch of generally cool dudes, music aside.

Apocolypta and DragonForce are two of the performances I remember like it was yesterday. I wish I had gone to 2006, Amon Amarth, COB, Finntroll etc and then 2007 was supposedly even better, some legends like immortal, dimmu, cannibal corpse, in flames.

Unfortunately, I don't have the money to go this year, Gorgoroth are playing and i've always wanted to see them. Nightwish, Opeth, Lordi and Kamelot all playing.
