That title alone should generate some clicks. I mostly lurk nowadays, but I saw this story pop across my feeds and I just felt the need to share. Sure that a few folks have seen it, but it was worthy enough of some laughter to put back out.

Pretty good read investigating not only the history of the stories sordidness, but the aftermath. I'm sure there are one or two folks around here with their own theories on who the real author was/is.

Redsayn: Might want to cool it a little with bumping old threads without a good reason.

Most of us browse the forum by clicking the 'New Posts' button near the top, which displays all of the recently bumped threads. Seeing a whole bunch of old threads bumped without any new content in them is irritating and stops the current threads from getting as much attention.

Remember that in forums, you're not just making a throwaway comment - people read linearly, so if you post without adding anything to the discussion then you're wasting a lot of people's time.

Respect that 1 month warning notice, please. It makes our lives better.

 

So I took a look at your profile, Redsayn. And I see a pattern. You're bumping threads that haven't seen (relevant) activity in some time, or that saw very little activity. Cool it. Alexx is still a pretty fresh memory. I suggest you look him up.
