Pony Rap Battle! Trixy vs Twilight

 

Pretty amusing, but what I'm really looking forward to is the potential next rap battle of Twilight Psycho vs. Pinkamena (it has a huge lead in the poll). The question of who is craziest pony must be resolved.

New Episode.

Lesson of the day, Granny Smith is awesome.

 

So I finished season one the other day. I think it's safe to say that I'm converted.

Although I'm probably alone on the site in the fact that Applejack is my favorite pony.

 

It was a fun episode, but I wouldn't count it among my favorites, even compared to the other Applebloom episodes. The history behind Ponyville was nice -- I always like it when more details about the world is revealed. I'm a little surprised at how much Equestria has changed since Granny Smith was young though. Canterlot had all those tents everywhere instead of the buildings we saw in "Sweet and Elite."

A Pinkie Pie episode is coming up soon, either next week or the week after. Still no Fluttershy episodes in sight.

Decent episode, with a more interesting spin on the "don't be embarrassed by your family" morality tale, especially with the creative harvest and the founding of Ponyville.

That said, I would like to have an Applejack episode for once. As much as I like Applebloom, she takes the time that otherwise could have gone to Applejack.

 

Yeah, from what I can tell Applejack is probably the least common favorite pony. Possibly because she's the least neurotic of the main cast: Twilight's an OCD nerd, Rarity's a drama queen, Fluttershy's scared of her own shadow, Rainbow has a huge inferiority complex, and Pinkie's crazy in the most awesome way possible.

Applejack is, for the most part, the sensible, grounded one. I think that has a tendency to make her fade a bit into the background compared to her colorfully eccentric friends.

 

Pfft. Applejack's my favourite. She's a bawse.

 

Agreed. As CG says, Twilight an OCD nerd, Rarity's a drama queen, Fluttershy's scared of her own shadow, Rainbow has a huge inferiority complex, and Pinkie's crazy. Applejack is the normal, well-adjusted one of the bunch, and consequently comes across much better from episode to episode than the others.

Yeah, AJ is definitely a cool pony. Not my personal favorite, but that's because i like my characters deeply flawed and damaged. I used to like happy well-adjusted characters, but then I took an Evangelion to the brain.

Also, have a funny pony comic.

 

Arguably my favorite anime of all time.. One of my favorite fanfic series out there is Joe's Timelands, so I get more than enough crazy from that, and, sometimes, it's nice to see someone who takes everything the world offers her with a smile and an offer of an apple.

So to speak.

Also, Chengar, just sayin', your version of Pinkie from Forever!/My Little Denarians is officially canon in my mind.

Since I just marathoned season two as well...

So far my favorite episode is probably the Halloween one. I did enjoy the subliminal message that may or may not have shown up to some people in Episode Twelve though. "It doesn't matter whether or not they embarrass the hell out of you, they're still your family."

Also, is it just me, or did Granny Smith seem to catch on to Apple Bloom's little schemes?

 

Aaaaaand the song to find Rainbow Dash's pet has taken over first place in my favourite songs list.

 

While I'm not exactly sure of how people view Daft Punk on this site - I, for one, only like Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger - I have found a video that successfully takes that song and makes it more awesome.
