Compared it took me almost 6 hours to write 3k last night... I may be fucked, lol.

I'm going to use this as a way to speed up my writing, as well as use it for re-writing several of my chapters. It's cheating a bit, as I'll be keeping various sections I've already wrote, but it's something I need to do before I can go anywhere else... and because I'm only working 12 days this month (this is how busy i am).

    Week One:
    Thurs 1st - Sunday 5th

    upload_2018-11-5_0-0-44.png

I cheated a bit and counted my words I wrote on the 31st when I was flying (as technically, if I didn't go back in time, I would have been partly writing on the 1st of November). This allowed me to meet my 'weekly' (going from Monday - Sunday) goal. This upcoming full week's goal is 11,000 words, which may be impossible. I am going to be on vacation though, so I may have more time (I'll also be on a vacation though).

This may be the only time I reach my goals this month, so I going to take pride in it.

Cya until next Sunday where we shall find out if I can write 11,000 words this week.

@Lindsey is that some kind of program specifically for NaNoWriMo?

Just click on "Dashboard" for your stats and update your current day's stats on the form below. Assuming that you know there is a NaNoWriMo website that is. It updates and then shows that specific stat chart.

    10,885 for me so far.

I'll have 11,000 by the end of today. Good to see we're all on track.

I was feeling down because I've only written about 3k words of story, but then I remembered that even outlines and world building counts toward your word tally. Now, sitting at 11k, I feel pretty damn good.

Update: I'm a bit behind at 7k total words where I should be at 12ish k, but I have been writing more regularly which is a huge plus for me. I average about 700 words an hour. Heres to improvement. I'll try and a catch up and I'm liking how the story is shaping up.

That's not that far behind. I usually make up for any lost ground during Thanksgiving break.

I keep telling myself to leave the bad wording the fuck alone and just keep going. I'm scratching at 10k, so I'm a bit behind, but there's probably another 2k in the outline doc which I will count if I need that extra edge on the 30th.

As of last night I'm at 17,952. The last couple of days have crawled with frustration and rewrites halfway through the section I'm working on. Hopefully today will be productive.

Barely squeaking by with my word goals. Almost broke 20k though which is great.

As I'm on a tropical island with little internet, i expect this weeks goals to fail. Luckily with thanksgiving next week, there will be time to catch up (hopefully).

As you could probably tell, I have been falling behind. Between vacation and travel, I have been too tired to put in the needed time. I'm about 3500 words short of my goals this week.

This means that during Thanksgiving break I need to find some time to write 14890 words to catch up to my goals. This is going to be hard.

    At least I am halfway?

You can still do it. I once wrote 6k words in a day. Those pages weren't good, mind you, but I did it.

I have a steaming pile of crap consisting of 37,270 words at the moment. Hopefully I can save at least twenty percent of it once I'm done. But at least I'm writing again, which is the whole point of NaNoWriMo. So, it has served its purpose.

Yeah, I failed completely. Stopped at 14k because I had a pile of shit instead of anything of quality. I'll probably end up tossing most of it, so it's really no more than an outline doc at this point.

    NaNoWriMo ain't for me.

Likewise I've "failed", but I am pleased because I've written some stuff I'm proud of for my OC fiction and have gotten into the daily habit of writing. I've also done a ton of thinking and mentally fleshing out of my world, clearing up some plot holes and how to link certain events/scenes.
