I think the Kumo war and the Iwa war are two separate wars. Since the Yondaime would have been long since dead by the end of the Kumo war, And since Konoha didn't seem to be hurting too bad, like one would expect from a near 20 year war. I think the Kumo thing was more of just a skirmish, and not full blown war.

 

What ^that guy^ said. A small skirmish kind of like the Oto-Suna invasion. Except on an even smaller level.

 

I don't think it was smaller than the invasion, I think it was most likely a month long war or something similar, hence the celebration for the peace signing, I doubt they would celebrate such a small thing if it was a one day war.

Has anyone read Colors of Life and Death? It currently ranks in at two parts, over 180k words, and 4kish reviews. The author's "Naruto Watching" is amusing, but something about this one has kept me from reading it.

((Not to mention her HP (HHr) works make me want to gag just looking at them.))

Hmph. I must have started that story at least 3 times. It was one of the first Naruto fanfictions I ever tried. But yeah, I never finish it.

I don't know, I can't think of anything absolutely horrible about it, it's just not that fun to read.

 

Mmm, I suspected as much. Very little SakuLee is well written to the point of interest.

 

Janus, I use to beta for Songbird till like half-way through the second book, hell it was one of my favorite fics back in the day. But my tastes now reside elsewhere. It is decent if you like Naru/Hina, Saku/Lee, Sasu/Ten.

 

Hrmmm... I suppose this warrants an open tab then. I'll have to stare at it for a day or so until I finally start reading it or my computer crashes and loses the site saving data.

A surprising number of fics go through this process, and the ones that survive seem to be good more often than not. xD

 

I remember that one, Colors of Death. I only vaguely remember it, and I know for sure I didn't read the whole thing.

 

Wow, Hands of Destiny had potential. Too bad the author went the happily ever after route instead of /Awesome. It bled off... rapidly.

He has a notification system. It's called the Naruto Fanfiction List. And Gaara+Temari doesn't equal epic win, it equals retarded babies.

Naruto is said to be 13 at graduation while everyone else is 12. Assuming that the Genin exam is held every half year, the dates can make sense. It is never stated in canon that there is only one academy class for each year.

 

Time and Again updated and I hate him all over again >_>. Pretty good chapter with lots of fights to go round. I especially liked Sasuke's fight, it was pretty original and showed a good use of how the Sharingan can be used.

Also, Gaara. Orochimaru is showing his genius in this fic, that's for sure.

 

I agree with Aekiel, especially about the hating.
