So yeah, like the title says.

I'm looking for Naruto fics where Summons and/or Summoning Jutsu are an important/integral and recurring thing.

Just readable fics are fine. I'm not looking for anything library worthy, just readable.

Special cookies if the fic sticks to canon and Naruto summons toads, but I'll take anything at this point.
Crossovers are welcome as well.

I've always felt the toads were one of the most underused thing in the manga after the importance given to the toads both by Jiraiya and Naruto learning the jutsu during chunin exams.

This is all about a summons, but not the usual animal summons. It's been ages since I've read it, but I remember it as readable, and memorable because of the original premise.

 

This may not be up your alley, but there's a decent SI that does summons quite well. Summons aren't a huge part of the story, and they appear fairly late into it, but it's definitely one of the most memorable summon experiences I've read.

A semi-crackish fic. It's been a while since I read it but I remember it being fun and a good way to kill an afternoon. If I remember correctly, pretty early in the story all of team seven ends up with summons. The number of summons just grows from there.
