I was listening to "Turn down for what" at the exact moment I read that.
Much lulz was had.

 

Power level reset doesn't sound THAT bad (still lazy, but not earth-shattering).

In fact, I'm imagining a scenario in which after X happens during the final fight with Kaguya, some Y affects the entire Ninja World, rendering everyone incapable of using chakra at high levels (basically everyone ends up like Rock Lee).

The new series could be about Naruto and Co. trying to restore the chakra.

 

Without Kishimoto it will not be Part 3/Naruto Z (I'm expecting more alien rabbits). It will be Naruto GT.

 

What happened to the possibility of a prequel about Minato? Or was that just a load of bull?

 

Minato prequel would be nice but I doubt it would happen.

 

Older Naruto looks pretty boss. Sad to see him not wearing the Hokage's hat. One thing Naruto said is true, Kakashi's susanoo looks cooler than Sasuke's.

 

I think he was talking about that Kamui attack specifically.

 

Gah, Kishi blows. There's no way Kaguya would get hit from above/behind like that. She has an active Byakugan for crying out loud. For that matter she should be able to see through Naruto's clones' disguises, as they are chakra constructs and she has the Byakugan. *Sigh*

 

Byakugan not being able to see through shadow clones was established way back in part I.

 

And with how OP Naruto and his SoSP powers are right now, his clones must be something like the equivalent of lesser gods.

As far as Sakura finally getting a hit in, she's dealing with Kakashi who is creating what appear to be entirely new (and rather badass) techniques, Sasuke (who has teleportation), and Naruto's OP trickery. I can let it slide.

EDIT: Ah, didn't know you meant the Henge.

 

I meant the disguises the clones are using, not the clones themselves.

 

Not even the Rinnegan saw through Naruto's Henge (twice) so this doesn't particularly bother me.

 

The Byakugan is supposed to have the best actual vision of all the doujutsu. It's supposed to be able to see chakra in fine detail. It's supposed to be able to see through physical objects. It's supposed to have a range of many kilometres and almost 360 degrees circumference. But that's not how Kishi depicts it.

 

So it's over. Meh. I've come to dislike Naruto so much I just find faults everywhere.

What I dislike about the ending is the (lack of) meaning. Yes, it's teamwork, technically.
But I just don't feel it. They tried teamwork a lot before. There was no grand revelation that made them work together better then before. The Sasuke - everybody else conflict wasn't touched. (Saying "you're useless" kind of goes against the idea of teamwork).

Kaguya wasn't beaten by anything special but just, she kind of got beaten.
Compared to Dragon Balls "everybody gives a bit of energy for a Genkidama and boom!", it falls short.

I wonder what happened to the tools of the Six Paths that Tenten picked up and the talk Hagoromo and the four Hokages had. And the Edotensei.

 

It's not over, someone said that it's going to end in winter this year.

 

That would be me. Keep in mind that the video I got that information from basically said the manga would be ending then. It's theoretically possible that the fight did end here and there will be an extended epilogue (or final Naruto vs Sasuke fight or whatever) to last until this winter.

EDIT: Wait, holy shit, did I misread that trailer subtitle? Here are the subs in question:

"His battle is heading towards a shocking development! And in winter 2014, the curtain will finally open on the last stage!"

Then it starts talking about the movie. Fuck, that line was probably talking about the release date for the movie (which is in very early December). It would be very strange for the movie to bridge the end of the manga with the new generation or whatever if the fight against Kaguya is still happening, though.

 

That actually seems kind of like PIS to me since the Rinnegan can see chakra. A bunch of rocks with chakra should raise alarm bells.

Sechrima's right. The Byakugan is known to be able to see and distinguish the different colors of people's chakra and Sasuke and Naruto's chakra is said to be like night and day the last time they were commented on. Even if Naruto's using a henge she should see his chakra and know that it's Naruto.

 

If the story followed logic Naruto and Sasuke would have had their asses handed to them years ago.

 

Apparently your chakra isn't visible when you turn into an inanimate object. Kakashi couldn't tell that Naruto was a windmill shuriken with his Sharingan back in the day. Though that and the times with Pain might be the only times we've seen someone pull a Henge on a doujutsu.
